Adorable! I should be all over this set, especially for the price...I love Tokyo Milk's concept, packaging, mini anything, perfume rollerballs, etc. but I just can't get on board with any of their actual fragrances. I try to use entire sample vials of perfume, because my opinion has often changed by the end of the sample, but something about these fragrances don't work with my body chemistry. Every sample I've tried has ended up in the trash before it was finished.  :wacko:  I want to love you, Tokyo Milk!
They are hit and miss.  I actually just bought [SIZE=14.4444446563721px]no 6 [/SIZE]Dead Sexy --I have so many perfume samples and minis I haven't bought a full size in 3 years so that speaks to how much I love it.  In particular from that set, I loved la Vie la Mort until I realized it is basically Bath and Body Works Velvet Tuberose with better packaging, and the BBW has better sillage in a 10 dollar lotion. (Which I just realized has been d/c for a while, not like I'll ever get through the whole bottle.)

Y'all are making me nervous- I have quite a few Sephora purchases I haven't opened yet (don't judge me!) and I hope nothing is missing!

Also, two (edit: THREE!) things:

1. You were all right. FRESH lip products are amazing!! I don't know why they messed up with my lips before, but after others said EOS chapped their lips but not Fresh, I decided to give them a try- my lips are never dry, but now they feel so SOFT AND SMOOTH.

2. Can we give it up to @? This is why I love this forum. Such a selfless act to go out and get products for us and send them out without profit just to be kind. I've experienced SO MUCH kindness on this forum that it gives me hope for humanity. It's "not just" makeup- it's people doing for others just because. Awesome. You all rock. <3

3. Also, I love our moderators!

They've always just given me points. I actually JUST had that problem, with a missing promo item. <_< Other retailers will replace the item, but I've never heard of Sephora doing so.
Yeah I am fully expecting points.  In my message to Sephora I stated that I would much prefer the item over points since I already have over 3,000 points and don't often find things I am interested in to spend them on (is it just me, or do a lot of promo items seem better than point perks?)  Sephora haven't responded yet so we'll see what happens.

Which promo items were missing? I might try to avoid those codes if it wasn't just a random mix up.
It was the daisydream promo for a mini daisy dream rollerball.  I am guessing it is likely a mixup since it still shows on my packing slip and someone else received one who ordered after I did.  I have placed another order with the same promo so we'll see what happens.

That's happened to me too. It stinks. They just credited my account 100 points. Boo! But better than nothing!

Seconded, I want to know which one was left out. Although it could be a fluke.
I am prepared for them to do the same for me.  I will appreciate the effort to resolve, and 100 points are probably equivalent to a promo item, but in general I like the promo items more.  It was the promo daisydream for a Daisy Dream mini rollerball.  I'm guessing it was a fluke, they let me use the same promo again last night so I would hope they still have inventory of it.

There is a lot of talk on sephoras beauty talk where people are missing samples, promos, point perks and actual paid for items. This is suddenly a huge issue. I experienced all of the above, called the VIBROUGE LINE, and didn't even get points for my missing samples. They sent me 3 with an order they made for me of a missing item. Otherwise it was 'sorry we can't do anything about missing samples.' Good luck! Maybe try beauty talk or Facebook and see if you get better service that way.
Interesting, I haven't looked on Beauty Talk so I thought I was the only one missing items.  Interesting that you have been missing something to.  I'm honestly not surprised to hear that the people on the Rouge line were not helpful.  I called in to the Rouge line close to a year ago and received pretty crappy service from someone who just sounded unhappy and angry at life.  I know not all of the people who work there are the same as that individual but it certainly didn't leave a good impression.  After that I saw other people writing that they also received less than satisfactory service on the Rouge line and that they had a better experience calling on the BI and VIB lines.  This was all a while ago so things could have changed.

 
I don't know who it was that was sad about missing out on the $5 UD nail polish (sorry can't tag you) but it's back!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! i ordered it immediately after i saw your post. i was really saddened, and considered ordering it at macy's, but then i have to spend $50, so i had to try fill up my cart, etc....but then it was OOS at macy's too. it's OOS at UD, and $15 at ulta and beauty.com.. i'm rouge, so i was kicking myself for not just ordering it right away at sephora when it was in stock (i was trying to come up with $25 of stuff to use a promo code, and when i went back, it was OOS)... but now, i finally did! thank you again for this!!  :wub:  you made my day!! :sunshine:

LOLLL... I'd remembered you saying that, too, and I just went back and forth through four pages of thread trying to remember who said it to tag them (you) only to see that 1. it was on the same page the entire time and 2. You had already seen @'s message! I tried really hard, though?

At this point I am a little annoyed, I just received another order without the promo item. The promo item shows on the packing slip, so I know I entered the promo code. Different promo item to last time. Bummer.

So I wanted to share the most wonderful Sephora experience I've had to date since I/We love to complain about the service sometimes.

The other day I walked into a store in DE. I was asked by a few people if I needed assistance to which I responded no thank you, since I'm socially self conscious.

After I said no to a few, I noticed one arranging the Kat von d display. Since I'm trying to push myself out of my socially awkward comfort zone I struck up a conversation about the new lip set they didn't have in stock yet, and I have to tell you she was the sweetest person ever. She was actually the regional trainer and shared her love for makeup story with me, her background, and discussed some operational initiatives the company is taking for their customers.

She demonstrated to me the value of opening up to customers and passion for her job.

I hope you all get that experience on your next visit!!!

And on Sephora related things: my KVD lippie set has been sent, tracking has not updated but I will likely not see it till Monday.  Le sigh.  At least I have an Ulta order coming in tomorrow to keep me distracted!  Haha

Girls I have a sort-of strange question to ask since I'm new to Fresh. I've only ever had the smaller-size Fresh Sugar lippies, so even though I can read the difference in size between them and the regular sizes, I don't know how long that translates to.

It didn't take me long at all to go through one of the smaller sized ones.. seriously like a week. I bought the $36 kit with four colors and the exfoliator (the larger kit didn't appeal to me). 

What I'm wondering is if I should get another kit or two while the getting's good this holiday season, or if in the end it would be better for me to just buy two full-sized for a little bit more when I need them. Thoughts?

Thank you. I don't have freshsoy, but I do have two of the Daisydreams I really don't need (mostly just needed a code) that I can send you if you want. I have a lot of other stuff to send out anyway. I know you're more annoyed with the principle (DEF write them and complain until they give you at least 200+ points... if they offer you 100 you can usually barter for more, for each missing perk) but hey, I'd rather them go to someone who wants them.
