I have a Mia and love it . I tested what I assume is the cashmere bristles before they came out but I did not think they worked very well for me. I did not like the clarisonic cleanser, I think those got thrown out quickly.

I have one. When I first got it early last year I was using the sensitive brush head. I didn't get any adverse skin reactions like others did. I just bought the long bristled cashmere brush head recently, that I don't really like, but I don't hate it enough to return/exchange it either, if that makes sense. To those with a Clarisonic Mia or those that have tried one: Do you recommend? I've never been lured in because I've heard as many bad things (breakouts that never end, as in skin isn't just purging, that they're TOO rough and TOO much exfoliation is just as bad as not enough, that they aggravate skin and that they cost too much to do something one can do manually) but with the introduction of the "cashmere" bristle set (which I've heard GOOD things about) I'm interested.
I have the mia2 and I have sensitive normal/dry skin with an acne prone chin (can you say mixed bag?) and I use the delicate brush every single day with fresh soy face cleanser and while it may make my skin a little drier, my Josie Maran Argan Oil combats any dryness created. I talked to someone at sephora and they said the cashmere brush heads were no different than the delicate brush head in effectiveness because I thought with my super sensitive skin I might want the cashmere heads. Honestly the delicate brush head is super gentle and so many people tell me not to use it every day but if I don't I find I don't get my skin clean enough or all my makeup off. I think even if you don't have sensitive skin, you should use a sensitive or delicate brush head if you want to use it every day, especially depending on how your skin reacts to physical exfoliators. Hope this helps! To those with a Clarisonic Mia or those that have tried one: Do you recommend? I wanted to comment on the Perricone No Makeup Skincare. I have been using the blush this week every day and noticed a difference in my skin. It's looking much better! Pores smaller and all that wonderfulness! I want to try some of Perricone's other products now too. Does anyone have any faves?
On another Skincare note, @@SaraP did you ever try PC's ultra light SPF moisturizer? Eek! I had a sample and wore it yesterday.... Once I was in the office I noticed I looked yellow... Not even a little yellow, A LOT yellow. It was especially bad around my hairline but thankfully I was able to push my hair up towards my face and kind of hide that. Sucks because I liked how it felt otherwise. But yeah, I can't buy it now since I don't like to look like big bird.
The Blush doesn't smell at all. The other no makeup items I have smelled in the store also don't smell at all.A comment -- and then a question -- about Perricone:
I bought a few Perricone items after watching an infomercial earlier this year. The skin items actually do seem (to me anyway) to do what they say. I use the Acyl-Glutathione eyelid serum (I use it all around my eyes, not just on the lid, and IMO, the skin around my eyes is tighter) and neck cream (Sub-D, anti-aging neck cream -- which again, does seem to be tightening up my neck), in particular.
But -- and this is a big but -- some of the stuff smells so fishy that I just can't use it, because I can't stand the smell. There was one item -- the Serum Prep -- that smelled so much like fish sauce that I thought it had gone bad. I checked the internet and nope, apparently, that's just how it smells. Shaking it thoroughly makes it less bad, but wow, it's potent. I also have a couple of small serums and creams (I got a set of travel-sized items, as well as the neck and eyelid items), but I haven't tried them all.
My question: how do the makeup items smell? Because I was thinking about trying them, but was hesitant for that reason.
I have the No Foundation-Foundation Serum, it is great. But I don't know how the color translates to a wide variety of skin tones. It is a medium color, but sheer like tinted moisturizer. You only use a few drops so it blends out pretty well.I wanted to comment on the Perricone No Makeup Skincare. I have been using the blush this week every day and noticed a difference in my skin. The blush and the no foundation-serum don't really have a smell. They have a faint smell, kind of like a classic makeup scent, but it is very faint and doesn't smell on your skin at all.A comment -- and then a question -- about Perricone:

I kind of want the bronzed too and have debated on the foundation or foundation serum. I think it would do well on a variety of skin tones actually. I checked it out in sephora yesterday with pale ol' me and then my friend who is Hispanic and has very dark (most people would think she is African American) skin. The whole line worked beautifully on both of us. We went to a store that was having a Perricone event thinking we would get some free goodies. No goodies at all (shame sephora) but did learn a lot about the products and tested them all. I am still curious about the mascara though.I have the No Foundation-Foundation Serum, it is great. I've noticed a great improvement the last couple weeks I've been using it, compared to using regular foundation. My skin isn't as splotchy, and it is brighter, I don't need as much makeup when I do wear it now. I like the natural satin finish it gives my skin too, not too dewy, not too matte/dry. It doesn't cake up either.
I really want the bronzer, but it is out of stock right now.
i went there today!! most of it is a normal shop with things birchbox sells on their website. instead of being organized by brand, its by category (i.e. hair, blush, skincare, eyes, etc.) they have a part to get services done (manicures, blowouts) and then there is a "build your own box" section.Um.... so there's now a BirchBox brick-and-mortar store in NYC?

someone needs to go there and tell me what they heck you do in their store?
Oh interesting about the services part. Do you know if you could use BirchBox points there? And was the "build your ow box" part worthwhile...I mean, I imagine they would have the more deluxed sized samples and not a huge wall of foil packets and pillow-pouches, right? I think I'm going to have to check out the store the next time I'm in NYC...i went there today!! most of it is a normal shop with things birchbox sells on their website. instead of being organized by brand, its by category (i.e. hair, blush, skincare, eyes, etc.) they have a part to get services done (manicures, blowouts) and then there is a "build your own box" section.
