Ok pulled the trigger on the nars set. I was good and just got a Tokyo milk lip balm. Been REALLY wanting to try Tokyo milk anyways so I'm happy!

Just FYI - even though we're in Canada, the $25 USD limit also applies to us.  As long as your order is over $25 USD in value it'll work, even if the promo code says it's $35 CAD and your order is under that.  I always check the US prices of my cart before checking out to see if my order qualifies.  This gets interesting when putting together orders because sometimes things are way more expensive in Canada than in the US, sometimes they're about the same price, and once, something was on sale in Canada but not the US!  

The only exception is when the perk is Canadian only (so there's no USD-equivalent threshold to meet) but those are rarely offered anyways. 

hmmmm last few times i tried to place over $25 USD/under $35 orders w promo codes they wouldn't go thru? and i tried calling to place them over the phone and they said it was bc the code wouldn't work with an order that low

The sample blush is a lot smaller and thicker than the full size, but it terms of product is is 88% of the full size, the liner is 50% and the lip pencil is 70% of the full size for a value of $56.10 (I think technically it gets another $1 for the eyeshadow primer.. but I never count packets unless its a treatment) Its a great value! I jumped on it.

I came *this close* to getting that NARS set, but I just want the lip pencil and blush.  I'm so sick of black eyeliner in *everything* that I will not get a set that has it even if I want everything else unless it's free (see the Sephora birthday set).  This one costs points, so it is *not* free.  

(I'm also bummed that I missed out on the Orgasm lip gloss.  I'm keeping an eye out now to see if it comes back in stock like just about all of their other point perks.  Fingers crossed on this one!)

I just had to post my awesome deal at Sephora. About 18 months ago I bought a sampler of perfume that was on sale for $18.50. I got 5 little bottles of perfume samples with a coupon to buy full size. The sampler was on clearance and 50% off. Last week I finally went to get my free perfume. The sales lady was so condescending and asked if this was for a free rollerball. Uh no - 1 oz bottle. Have you used that Anastacia pencil before? I have been eyeing it.... I use Benefit High Brow now.

I have a sample size version of the Camille end of this product, and it's my favorite under brow highlighter. It's a matte pale pink, which works really well on my pale skin. It adds a bit of a highlight and evens out the tone of your skin above your eyes. I think it might be more difficult to pull off for darker skin tones. I haven't tried High Brow.

I actually had never gotten it, this is my first time purchasing it. But today I tried it out at Sephora in the store, and I used the matte side as an under brow highlight, and the shimmer side for the inner corner, and it looked and glided on and melted in spectacularly. I am going to get so much use out it! I've only ever swatched Benefit's Highbrow in the store, but I don't like it as much. I feel like it wouldn't pat/blend in as well as the Anastasia. You should try it in store and see what you think!

I think they're just clearing out some old stuff... a lot of those sets are from last year, I think. And the foundation is only in the color Deep - I remember that foundation being on sale several months ago, too; they must have taken it off the page so people forget about it and now they're bringing it back to clear it out. The eyeliner set (which I'm also tempted to get) is a 2013 set from QVC.

Does the age of this stuff make anyone else nervous? I was considering one sale Tarte set but the reviews were over a year old and even then said the mascara was already dried up.... I decided I didn't need to buy it...

Oh yeah that makes sense.  Maybe they found them in the warehouse or something.  I am still excited to order it!  If there are any dupes for the eye liners I will put them in the circular swap box or gift them to my midsummer swap giftee.
