Ooooh...the Soho and meatpacking locations are great. The Columbus circle location is also a good one.
I looooove the Soho location, but HATE having to deal with crowds that go with it. Once you get inside it's lovely. Columbus Circle is great because it's not a cluster f*** like the rest of them. @latinafeminista, Union Square is decent size wise, but can sometimes be a **** show. The Madison Ave/42nd St location is a waste of time, don't bother.

[@]latinafeminista[/@] Don't remember how big it is, but the downtown location (Broadway and Liberty St.) might be less crowded on the weekend, unless there's an event at the WTC site. I've been to the Times Sq location a few times and it's pretty much a zoo at all times.

I'm going to be in NYC on Friday for my birthday; can any NYC-ers recommend a great Sephora I can go shop in? I'm staying in Chinatown fwiw
The soho location will be very close, but the weather will be nice this weekend for a walk to

I find that one pretty busy, because there are SO MANY TOURISTS down there, and it's right near the C21. The new one in BK is niceish... nothing special but brand new.

I bought a lipstick yesterday and swatched it. When I took it home and put it on my lips I didn't realize there was glitter in it. Like it feels gritty but I didn't notice it when I swatched it. Is it bad if I return the lippie for something else? I'm bummed that it feels so awful when I put it on!

Please don't ever feel bad about returning items you bought that don't suit you.  If you bought it, all legit, and it doesn't work for you, return it.  I promise Sephora has probably had WAY worse return customers.

The kinds of things people pull at B&BW is ridic and we take anything back, I'm talking used shower poofs, EMPTY bottles of shower gel, candles burned all the way down. Granted these customers can only get credit if they can't prove how they paid, but we take back damn near anything.  Christmas merch?  Yep, even if the customer knows we can only give them credit for the last selling price, some people want a credit for $1.25.

Ahh I was trying to convince myself I didn't want this, but you are making it difficult! I'm such a sucker for full-look palettes.

Also you guys are too cute!

Wait...you mean to tell me I could be returning all (and its a hoard) of used bbw stuff... JK I'm not like that, although I did want to return my cooling coconut water spray thing because I think I got a faulty one and it, while lying on its side, leaked out like 75% of its (new!) contents :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> but I was busy packing and never did, so eh. I have so many anyways I was like "good, now one will finally get used up!" Lol.

I say take that lipstick back! Sephora has returns worked into their pricing matrix you've already paid for the return, trust me ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

So I was at a Sephora and SiJCP today, the purchase I made at Sephora is showing up in my account but the one from SiJCP isn't and they were roughly 10 minutes apart.. If it doesn't show up by Monday I'm assuming I'll have to email/call Sephora to get the points added to my account? Pretty sure the last purchase I made there didn't show up either but I didn't bother since it was only about $10, but this time it was almost $70 and I definitely want my points.

Also, should I be worried that 2 purchases from the end of December in a mall in Plano (I'm in Houston) are showing up under my account's purchase history? Does this mean that someone else managed to get the same account number as mine? I feel like I've read about that happening before..

[@]norther[/@] my SiJCP purchases never, ever, ever register. I always shoot over an IM to the Facebook time with date, approx time, location of store, items, and total. They fix it right away no questions via FB chat. Id ask about those Plano items too...I'd hate for someone to use your points!

I have this problem constantly at Sephora JCP! Customer service will give you points for Rewards but they have yet to apply the purchase to my vibr status! I Facebook them too but never get the $ credits for my vibr, @usofjessamerica do you get the money paid applied?

Ooh, I didn't even think of messaging them over FB! I'll do that now :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> My account is still saying that I need to spend $350 to requalify for VIB and I spent a good $100 today alone lol. I'll give that a few days though, I remember it being wonky last year too. Hilariously, the purchases showing that aren't mine say that they were bought in a SiJCP.

ETA:

facepalming a little at the reply I just got from Sephora's FB lol. I included my email + account number in my message and the guy messaged back asking for them. He said he'd look into the purchases I didn't make but told me it could take 1-3 days for my SiJCP purchase to show up. ...but they never show up! I even mentioned that the purchase I made 10 minutes earlier in a free-standing Sephora has already shown up. I guess I'll just have to keep a count and remember to message again.

Went to pick up an Urban Decay primer at my SiJCP and they had a 100-point of the Algenist Eye Renewal Balm. It's 0.23oz, so almost half of the full size which costs $65! I almost picked this up but they were all out, so this worked out even better!

omg I'm so confused by sephora's FB replies regarding the purchase that wasn't mine!

Told them about it in my first message, they asked for my info and the total cost of that purchase, I was confused and gave it to them, and now they just messaged back saying "I'm showing that purchase on your purchase history. The points from that purchase have been added to your Beauty Bank."

I guess I'm gonna have to call them on Monday because:

1) it was already showing in my purchase history

2) my points balance is still showing the same as before I messaged them, not that I'd feel right keeping those extra extra 96 points.

3) they completely misunderstood me and didn't address my concerns AT ALL but I don't feel like messaging again since I'll get the same person.
