I think it's let's you add it without a code when it's your birthday month, it becomes an option at checkout , but the codes work year round

I placed my order with the VIB code just now. Or, rather, I was going to place the order I planned out and the $10 Tarte pack with the eye cream and the little oil went out of stock as soon as I tried to confirm my purchase! Argh. I wonder if it really did go out of stock, or if Sephora is up to something sneaky with the cheaper value pack/gift pack items. (Or I'm just paranoid.) I got the Tocca Florence Travel Duo perfume instead, and I guess I'll have to look for the Tarte set (or a similar one) elsewhere.
I did manage to snag a sample of Katy Perry's Killer Queen fragrance, at least. Well, hopefully they send it. They've been changing the samples around the past day or so. When I checked yesterday there were zero fragrance samples for me to choose from. Those are my favorite to get, so I can smell all of the smells!

Which NARS multiple did you get? I have Altai and am trying to decide if I need another. I also keep going back and forth on the NARS palette. I already have so many shadows. I almost bought it during the Nordstrom triple point event.

i also got altai. to me, it's the only worth it one - for contouring. i have tons of cream blushes (also, stains, powders, etc) and lots which imo, are better than nars multiple in formula. the other 'brown' nars matte multiple is too yellow! i also have tons of shadows, but (like mascara) it's my obsession. i always focus on my eye makeup, and i don't feel so bad adding yet another palette to my drawers full of shadows. haha. i also sold my too faced a few of my favorite things palette recently, and that helped justify this purchase as well.
