For the past week or two I've been using the Tarte Maracuja Oil deluxe sample as a serum in the morning and at night (under a moisturizer). I have to say that I am loving it and I think it is making my skin more radiant. I have barely made a dent in the .23oz bottle sample (I use 3 drops per application) and I am considering getting another one of these samples while they are still available with an offer code. Totally worth it. I'm not sure about getting a full size yet...I think it would take forever for me to get through and sometimes I lose interest in a product if I have it too long. Does that happen to anyone else?!

I also lose interest in products. Deluxe sample sizes are ideal for me.

Definitely.  I need to get some more deluxe samples of eye creams.  I just used up the Origins Eyezing cream in the 100 pt perk size.  It was just ok, not really good enough to make me want to buy it.  I hate to get just foil packets of eye cream.  I get fooled into thinking they are good from two or so uses, then I buy the full size and I'm not impressed.  I still have a full size of a MAC eye cream that I'm working on.

Masks I feel are different.  I can usually tell if I like a mask from a single use, so I love to get these as samples.  I am going to try the GlamGlow face mask sample tonight, very excited even though the GlamGlow eye mask samples were a total bust.

I'm too germ-o-phobe to get the rollerball of the oil and I would really recommend against it.  I mean, think about when you use a perfume rollerball, towards the end it can get cloudy and weird from the oils and stuff on your skin (and perfumes are usually high on alcohol content, which should theoretically kills bacteria on your skin).  I can't even think about what an oil based rollerball would pick up from your skin and then grow in the product, and then smearing that stuff back onto your skin the next day.  Ick.

I also thought the eye mask sucked, but I do like the GlamGlow. The black one worked better for me then the white and a little goes a long way!

I just tried my sample of the black one...the foil packet was enough to cover almost my whole face, I didn't do the driest areas of my cheeks.  Wow, that stuff does *tingle* at first and then it felt ok.   My skin is extremely red after taking it off...I slathered on some of my night cream and I'll see how it looks in the morning.  I do use glycolic acid products a few times a week, so my skin can get a little sensitive from products like this.  So far I'm not convinced that I will like it better than my REN mask, and the REN one is $15 cheaper.

Thanks for the heads up. There are good samples right now! I placed a few small orders because I want to try the guerlain and givenchy mascaras, the D&G lipstick sampler, the fresh mask, and the Hourglass foundation. I wonder how long 5 samples will stick around.

Yeah we'll see what kind of stock they have over the next few days. I'm going to try placing like 10 small orders in a day.  Let's see if I get banned!  Though according to Beauty Insider VP Sara Choi, that just isn't happening and we must be mistaken. After our disastrous VIB Rouge "chat" I'm feeling a bit contrary.
