i got the bag too! i liked the color too..but it has a strong smell? hopefully that will go away soon.

Went to mine and it was really sad, one girl, 4 balloons. When I asked her about the event I was told "Well MUFE has some new blushes...." Even my 9 year old was like that wasn't very good! Then I was over charged at the register and when I came back the girl wasn't even apologetic, sure it was just a few $ but as least a sorry was due.

I think they had a better selection in the past, but it seems to have dwindled down to those four items and I expect they will be discontinuing the line when the remaining stock is gone. I'm mildly surprised it hasn't hit the clearance section. It makes me sad, because I really like everything I've tried from theBalm.

sephora's been selling thebalm for a while now...but really limited selection nowadays. i think they'll stop carrying the brand soon?

I would think theBalm is going to have a hard time getting a bigger collection into Sephora when they are up against brands like Benefit and Too Faced who seem to be doing well for Sephora.

@Jennifer Leigh, I don't have them yet in my hot little hands, but I did find some swatches online.  I could not yet find any for the nail polishes...the brown is a nude and if it is similar to the nude gloss, I will be happy - reminds me of  a very light café au lait

I am going to my sephora to get that lip balm that is sold out - the venus lure by sephora + pantone.  It is very sheer and would be great to have on those days where I want to be "more natural" lol

I think Sephora said a while ago that the Balm is a brand they are discontinuing and will have those 4 items on there until they're out. I remember this from a year ago or something. Only a few had the Balm displays (small ones too. Like a slice of an aisle or an end cap kinda like how occ is in some stores). I remember (and confirmed by some internet searching!) that it's been being "phased out" since 2011-2012 which explains why Sephora isn't carrying a bigger collection. There was a period where a ton of Balm items were being dumped on TJ Maxx/Marshalls. I'm surprised the items haven't been going up on clearance if they've been phasing it out for the last few years. Of course, there are ladies out there who are unlike MUTers who only know as sephora as THE place to get the balm and don't know about Hautelook or theBalms big sales (if they can get in!) It's a small fish in the beauty world, IMO, (small. new.). The Balm is in Kohls (at least online and in stores by me in WI) and in some Walgreens with look boutiques or whatever they're called. I saw that Too Faced has a bronzer palette coming out with their summer collection and it's already available at Ulta...anyone know if or when we will see this palette at Sephora??? It features the chocolate soleil, snow bunny, sun bunny bronzers. I really want a bronzer palette in my life, this sounds great!!

Maybe Sephora had a deal with theBalm (like Lorac) and that ended which is why they're phasing it out? There's no way theBalm didn't sell well... but I personally never remembered theBalm in Sephora stores. It mostly seemed available online.

theBalm is also in the high end walgreens/duane reade sections with massive beauty shops.

I've also seen theBalm nail polish in Ann Taylor shops, but I doubt they'll be carrying much of their makeup...

Omg, literally at Sephora, everyone milling around, not even bothering to greet by even one associate. I literally made purchase, asked for the promo ( an orchid pouch w 25), without one person even saying hello. I am really turned off, usually service at Sephora is much better then this. Spent absolutely the min when I normally spend s fortune, cuz did not want to encourage the terrible customer service.I'm so frustrated!! ( in novi, mi, not my normal store ).

There are THREE standalone Sephoras in my area, and I get treated like this at *every single one*.  The only time I seem to get nearly-instant oh-hi-can-I-help-you seems to be when I go in on the weekend wearing jeans, sneakers, and a Teefury t-shirt but no makeup, and it always feels like they're trying to shuffle me the hell out of the store ASAP without even buying something, and *that* feels like they don't want someone like me to be seen carrying one of their bags.  When I go in there during the workweek, I'm dressed like the seventeen-year-old's kooky aunt who is unafraid of color.  I clearly spend plenty of money on makeup, but they still seem to want to get me without the door without selling me anything, and they accomplish this by ignoring me.  One of my coworkers -- who wears pretty much no makeup but is obsessed with high-end skincare -- went to the store by her apartment to check out some sort of skincare product and was treated the same way, so she left without buying the very expensive skincare line she went in to get.  On the up side, I do usually get left alone to swatch in peace.

ETA:  Oh, wait exceptions to being ignored by employees!  I do usually get good service from the guys working.  Unfortunately, they're usually working the registers, so I still get crappy service on the floor.  Especially from one particular older woman who has actually just shrugged and walked away from me while I'm in the middle of asking a question.
