Thanks for posting this! I just placed an order to get the Shiseido mini. I love their Lacquer Rouge, but it's super pigmented and opaque. I'm hoping this is similar in a more sheer finish, and it looks like a really pretty color. The full size product isn't in stock yet. It's a $25 minimum purchase.

I need your advise:

I wanted to get lip gloss trio perk, so I made an order, I was a bit preoccupied, and used the wrong code (-10%). I tried to cancel the order, but I guess there is no such option, so I places one more order, identical to the previous, except I used the proper code for it. And I emailed cs asking to cancel my first order. CS got mack to me saying that unfortunately orders cannot be cancelled, but I am more than welcome to return.

I actually have never returned anything to Sephora, so, here are my questions:
1. can I keep samples?

2. can I return items from "more expensive order", the one that use lip-gloss-coupon, but keep the lip glosses?

Whenever I return stuff I bring the GWP with me, but they have never asked for it back, regardless of whether I've used them.  I've been told that "it's a gift from Sephora to you".  Same with the 3 free samples.  So yes technically, you should end up keeping the lip glosses even if you return the items that you ordered with them, and effectively get both the 10% off and the lip gloss set.

I agree, I always bring in my GWP and what ever samples I can find laying around.  I put everything in a neat little zippy.  

They've never asked for either the GWP or the samples back, but I figure if I ever get red-flagged for any reason and a retail store should hesitate on accepting a return, having the GWP and samples should be show of good intent.

I placed an order Friday and it just shipped today. I was pretty sad about that, as I had used the fresh rollerball code and was sure that was OOS already. However, it shows up on the shipment confirmation. :11: Hopefully that means it did ship.

Same here! Very excited, even though I had ordered a full size of the Fresh perfume the day before, I couldn't pass up the free rollerball. Thinking I may exchange the full size for another fragrance in store...hopefully they will let me keep the 3x points, anyone tried that before?

You should be able to use VIBNIRVANA more than once but also MOBILE will let you choose a smartphone or tablet felt case.

Sometimes I think UPS uses the "adverse weather conditions" excuse as a general excuse for when they can't deliver a package on time for whatever reason. I placed two Sephora orders twenty minutes apart on the same day (Friday around noon). They both shipped on Friday (I have Flash) from the same location. One was delivered today. The other wasn't delivered due to adverse weather conditions in my town. It's 40 degrees outside. It's not snowing, raining, or anything. I'm not upset at all, I just found it funny that they used that as an excuse when this is the nicest day we've had in weeks and they found a way to deliver one package but not the other. Just say "Hey, we don't feel like delivering it today" lol.

On a another note, the Fresh Life rollerball smells amazing!

Oh my gosh all the time.  Granted, it has been super snowy in Chicago, but good lord.  Sometimes I'm just like "we got an inch.  for real?  please just deliver my things."  My roommate was having an issue where she was ordering books for her classes and paying tons of money for priority and they were just like "no.  no books for you."- which is frustrating.. if you spend the extra $$ for the fast shipping, you should get it.  UPS I'm pretty sure just quit wanting to deliver inside the city at all.

I would be ticked if I paid a lot for shipping and didn't get my items delivered on time. I would think UPS would offer a refund for the amount she spent on shipping. Seems like the right thing to do but I don't know.

You're probably right- she's not really the kind of person to call and try to deal with it, but I'll certainly ask her!

On delivering packages and the weather: remember that when there is snow, etc it really backs up package delivery- so while you might not have a ton of snow that day, they might have double or even triple the packages to delver. I am a dog walker and if there is any amount of ice on the ground it takes much longer to complete my normal route, since a lot of people are pretty inconsiderate about salting and shoveling the sidewalk. (And by inconsiderate I mean that they don't do it at all- especially if they have a garage or mainly enter as exit through the back door). Even one of two inches or snow can turn to ice very quickly, so is getting your package on time really more important than the safety of the delivery men and women?

i just bought my first YSL glossy stain. i got #7 corail aquatique and i am in love. think i'll get more.....but slowly since they are expensive! $35! but i think it's worth it. so pigmented, wears comfortable, great colors! i guess i'll find out how long it wears on the lips by the end of the day. i had to change my lippy mid-day to test it right away. hehe
