Noob question here:

Is the triple points for a fragrance purchase good on ANY fragrance purchase or is there some threshold or qualifier I need to meet?

Nope it even works with clearance!

Ah! That Balenciaga set is so cute! I actually just got a sample of the perfume in my order that arrived today! I can't decide if I like it though. At first I didn't, but now it's growing on me. I don't wear scarves like that so I don't even know why I want it, I just do!

I like this very much even though when I first smelled it in store it wasn't my favorite, but I tested it out twice and it grew on me.  I have to say, its kind of an unusual name choice because it isn't very floral, I definitely get more citrus off of this than floral.  That being said, this is definitely my personal favorite of these NEST scents, but I also have the Dahlia &Vines and like that too.  The rollerballs are great, have nice lasting power and work really well. Hope you enjoy!

OK, so I decided that I am really going to give my GlamGlow Brightmud Eye Treatments a serious test.  I have 2 samples, which should be enough for 4 uses.  I'm going to try to place an order this week and pick up a third sample. I'll apply them every 3 days for the next 2-3 weeks and see if I see any difference. I feel like if there isn't any difference by then, this product is just a total bust.

I know pretty much everyone here said the samples they got did nothing on their first test, right?.  I did round one last night, and saw very little to no effect (maybe a slight brightening or just wishful thinking).

I use an eye cream twice a day (for 10+ years), I'm 31, have some dark circles, some undereye bags, but no serious eye concerns aside from wanting to look youthful and rested, when I'm really tired and worn out.

I used the glam glow 4 times and no difference

I used it twice and saw absolutely no difference.  IMAO, I think it should do someting, however small, if it is a depuffer and has the impressionable line-up of ingredients, impress me, just a little bit.

Am going to do one with and one w/o will report back.

wow just got it and only put a little on my wrist and it is strong don't smell the floral but i think i like it.

Man, I want them to do the little Balenciaga pouches again. I would pick one up in a heartbeat. I looove my balenciaga bag, but would never spend the money they charge on little accessories. For them or any brand.

Yay! I'm so happy I could remind people about August, because it was this forum that I first found out they even did bonus points during certain times! I was so lost  before I met you guys!

BTW, I keep wanting to do one of those traveling boxes on Sephora's board, but I NEVER get in fast enough on the list. Would anyone here be interested in something like that? This is how it works: Someone starts a box. You put HIGH-END samples, deluxe samples, or unused products (say, from the likes of Sephora). People sign up to be on the list, we make a list based on who signs up first. FOR EVERYTHING YOU TAKE, YOU HAVE TO PUT BACK PRODUCTS OF EQUAL VALUE. For example, you can't take a news Nars blush and just put in a mini Bad Gal lash. Now, if you take two mini Bad Gal lashes and some skincare samples, and a mini Korres tube of creme, putting in a mini That's Real! you don't need, a full-sized Butter London (new) polish is more than fair. The point is to put in what you take back monetary-wise (don't we all have duplicates we don't need?) I will warn you guys that the shipping costs can get expensive- like $12 to ship to the next person if it gets really heavy- but I've seen girls score new Nars primers, blushes, new YSL lipsticks, things like that. And, drugstore brands ARE welcomed- you just can't take a $30 product for a $12 drugstore mascara, you know? Just something to put out there. And it doesn't have to be all expensive. If you just want a couple of perfume samples, that's all you have to put back. If anyone has more questions, go to Sephora's board and check out the loot they get!

Speaking of trading, I think my cousins and I are the only ones who actually *like* Celebutard by Kat Von D. So if you have a mini of one of those that you know you'll never use, I will gladly trade you some goodies for it!

You should check out the circular swap box. It's the same concept- a box of samples/full size products gets sent around to the group and you take and add things of equal value. It's not open right now, but it's a ton of fun! You get rid of stuff you don't want and get stuff you do want!

Ooh neat, thank you! I still think some of us girls should get one going. It doesn't have to be as big as Sephora's, nor does it have to be as expensive. I know we all have tons of samples and even deluxe samples that we HAD TO HAVE because they were free, but now have too many of and never use!

I think this is a great idea.

You should create a group in the Circular Swap thread and copy the link to this thread so all the Sephora board posters can know about it and join up.  I think if you try to do it through this thread you might run into trouble with moderators and being "off topic" ...most of the other Circular Swap boxes have pretty strict rules about who can join: number of positive trades, length of time on MUT, number of posts etc, so you might have to create rules to keep the box from getting hijacked?

This is a totally good idea and I agree about the off-topic thing, just trying to get a feel to see if anyone would be interested, but I think a few girls at least would be :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I know Sephora inside JCP has a promo going in March (or starting at the end of Feb, ending at the end of March? Someone give me exact dates if you know!) Where if you buy ANY skincare item (like, $6 facial mask) you get an extra 50 points. It's not much, but it's something.

A few thoughts for the evening: 1) I don't know if there is historically any kind of points deal offered in March, I googled it and didn't find anything... 2) I tried on my J'dore Dior perfume. I wouldn't say that it smells cheap...but it's definitely a little fussy. I remember when I bought it I thought it was sexy...now I think it's a little too uptight maybe? Its just not what I want to smell like anymore, haha. Definitely won't be reaching for it again any time soon...I'm going to wear my YSL Parisienne tomorrow. 3) I just saw a YouTube video with MakeupbyTiffanyD where she shows the Rosabotanica 500 point perk and the scarf does look very cute and high quality. I'm saving my points for particular things I might want to eventually get a full size of, and that doesn't include fragrance, but this looks like a good one is people are on the fence. 4) I do think that the Fresh Life fragrance has a unisex vibe going on...maybe that's why I was unsure about it...I typically go for extremely feminine fragrances, but maybe I should be bold and try something different.

I've been in and out of Sephora a zillion times the past few days (literally around the corner from my apartment).  When I go in, I spritz a scent on each wrist and then leave.  I'm smell testing everything to see what I like on me.  I wonder if they think I'm some loony...

Thanks for updating me on J'adore!  It just doesn't smell 'special' to me.  My holy grail perfume is Clinique Happy.  It just works on me really well, and it's the only scent that others compliment me on.  My mom and I both wear it,

I ordered the Rosabotanica 500 point perk and I can't wait!  I'm always wearing scarves and accessories.  I hope it smells good!
