Speaking of fragrances does anyone know if the mj dot rollerball smells the same as the spray perfume?

Just used the VIBNIRVANA code for the Elizabeth and James samples. I was just buying a Butter London polish for $15 so wasn't expecting to be able to use a code. Then I remembered seeing people in this thread saying that this code had no minimum purchase requirement so I decided to cash in on it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Pretty excited for Nirvana Black, I love darker and slightly masculine fragrances so I have high hopes for this :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

That's smart! I am also super weird about fragrances and get headaches from them- so I understand that need.  I may have to start doing that though!  I figured out though what smell it is that gives me a headache, so all I have to do is smell it once to know whether or not it'll be safe.  Some of them though give me the small headaches- not like, full blown migraine, and I may try this method to figure that out!
A few scents give me major headaches (anything with "white" = STABBITY), but a lot of scents give me what I refer to as The Quease:  A low-level headache and a touch of nausea, but not every time I wear them.  I learned the hard way how to test fragrances the weather way when I discovered Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.  They have a lot of stuff that I love but can wear only on certain days (shark week can be a major issue) or when the weather is a certain way, and I sometimes have to sniff my way through half a dozen oils before I can pick one out for the day.  There is one particular scent I love -- Eat Me, inspired by _Alice in Wonderland_, with the following notes:  "Three white cakes, vanilla, and red and black currants" -- that *clearly* has an epic amount of red musk, which is a very heavy note, and I wore it one day when I saw _Cloverfield_ on one of the biggest movie screens in the country.  Big mistake.  That movie set off some serious motion sickness, and to this day, I have to be very careful about when I wear Eat Me because I have serious scent/memory connections.  Some days, I'm fine, and some days, I want to barf the instant I even *try* to smell it, and I never know which it's going to be until I do the sniff test.

Help!  Am stuck in Canada Sephora.  Was doing a search on Eastee Lauder Private Collection Tuberose & Gardenia and it was offered on the Canadian Sephora, was curious so went in and took a look.  Now am stuck and can't get out.  Clicking on the Canadaian flag does not allow me to select another country and typing in Sephora USA and clicking on that doesn't fix it either.

Any suggestions or experience?  TIA.

Clear the cookies? I feel like this issue gets posted often on their FB wall but so weird you can't click the flag!

Ack, what a coincidence...I just ran into that problem last night!

Iniitally, I had also thought that clicking on the Canadian flag on the upper right side of the Sephora page would re-direct me...however, that doesn't actually do anything...*womp womp*...   To get back to the Sephora USA page: Scroll to the bottom left side of the Sephora page, where you'll see USA and Canadian flag icons. Click on the USA flag. You'll get a prompt stating that this action will re-direct you to the USA site.

Thanks!  That did it.

Isn't that the oddest thing. I was just going to post this question yesterday because I couldn't figure it out either. After I typed out the question, I thought I would go look one more time and found the flags on the bottom of the screen. I  have no idea how I got on the Canadian site.

I have a mini and I love it.  There are lots of online reviews, blogs, and youtube reviews that should be able to give you all kinds of details.  I've used mine daily for about 4 months or so.  I used to use a clarisonic.  I prefer the luna, it's just the right match for me.  Others have noticed the brightness in my skin.  I haven't had a breakout since the first week.

Thx so much!!
I have both and they smell the same to me!
Thx so much!! Ok now I have another question (sorry), in ulta today I looked at the rollerball but it wasn't a roll-on like I was expecting, but had a spray top. Is that how yours is and they still call it a rollerball?

It will still smell the same, especially if it's a spray-top. It's the same stuff that's in the regular perfume bottle.

Mine is an actual rollerball, but like ohsailor said, it should smell the same either way.

Last year, i got one of those Sephora p perfume samplers where you could choose your rollerball after sampling the scents they in the box. I chose Dolce & Gabana's Light Blue. Even though they called it a rollerball, it had a spray top. It seems like they were using rollerball to indicate a size rather than delivery method.

i wish all rollerballs are spray tops actually. i had a rollerball of CK euphoria go bad on me just after a year or so. it still smells the same but there's black goo accumulating at the bottom? anyone have a similar experience? what i don't like about rollerballs is that you're exposing the perfume in the bottle to your skin and contaminating it... but i'm still not sure what cause that black goo on my euphoria.

My pink sugar rollerball and bottle (from a few years ago) have turned darker/thicker but it's more yellowy.. I think they just got old. I hardly wore them in the past year or so, so it's ok.. But still sad. I like the spray better as well. I have a Escada Cherries in the Air that is a spray rollerball and it's much better, I totally agree on the contamination thing.

I personally prefer spray bottles above everything else and it's why I rarely buy rollerballs. If I knew which ones were actual rollerballs and which were spray-tops, it would make way more interested in buying them. I do understand the allure, I think it was @FormosaHoney that said it's nice to be able to refresh your perfume or put some on without making everyone around you take a whiff if you're, say, at the airport. Still, I usually try to save money by buying my perfumes at Fragrancenet (I swear I'm not a rep for them) and then making an atomizer of the fragrance to carry in my bag or throwing in a little sample bottle if Sephora or Nordstrom were offering them as samples.

I'm actually annoyed they call the spray tops "rollerballs". The small tube perfumes have a name: travel or purse sprays. A rollerball is a very specific distribution and is usually oil based which is why they sometimes smell "off", I'm surprised a beauty company would use the term rollerball for something so obviously not a "rollerball".
