I remember this happening when people were being banned but I thought it has stopped.  I wonder if Sephora is limiting the less than $XX amount purchases with free shipping by just canceling them with offering excuse or if it was just a quirk.  I went ahead and placed a $10 order because I really want to try the eye mask but I am worried about placing small orders again. 

I've read about cancelled orders on the Sephora community forums and for the most part it involves Rouge members having their orders cancelled or being banned from ordering online - which sucks because you all are the ones that spend the big bucks! I have flash shipping and I made 6 $1 orders ( I sent them to surprise friends as a little midweek pick up) and they all shipped out with no problems. Based on my experience and the other stories I've heard, it seems to hold up that Sephora is more inclined to cancel Rouge orders that are of small dollar amount. I don't know why other than those with flash paid for free shipping on any order and Rouge members didn't.

Haha, of course by the time I actually get the notification (or try to be helpful to you lovely ladies) it's already sold out. Damn. I JUST got it in the mail

It was able to be used by VIBs as well as Rouge, that's why it went so fast. There are other codes still working, checkout the Rouge thread.

Oh, I'm good :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I don't really wear red lipstick- I just wanted to share with others. Also, no offense to VIBs at all, but that is kind of bs. Rouge is such a rip-off, I'll NEVER go for it again!

 
I agree, in fact I opened another account to earn vib and will do it again and again. Just the $20 off 50 in December will be worth more. I use the Rouge if I really want something under $50 or for small purchases for samples I want.

That's such a good idea!! If I'm going to spend the money, it's waaaaaaaaay more worth it to have three VIB accounts than one Rouge account FOR SURE!

Edit: Also, if your accounts are VIB, you can always call and request an invite for Flash or to be signed up. I know it worked for some girls and not others, but in my experience if I call 3 different reps about ANYTHING I get 3 different answers and will go with the one that gives me the best response. So even if I got a no, I'd call again until I got the "right" rep!

True! It seems like they purposely makes it seem like an exclusive Rouge perk. I initially thought they really meant to sooth the angry and disappointed Rouge members, but ahh, it seems they're only trying to mislead us...

Right!? Don't get me wrong, I want my VIB ladies to get fantastic perks and they deserve them, but I feel INCREDIBLY bamboozled and tricked, ESPECIALLY considering the *one* perk we truly get- free shipping- is outdone by Flash ($10 for 2-day shipping vs $1000 for 3-day!) and can apparently get you banned from shopping online if you "abuse" it by making "too many small" orders (although I do admit it seems like that has calmed down significantly). 

Speaking of which, I can no longer use the search function by, say, typing in "$1" to get products that are that amount of money + or - a few dollars- has anyone else noticed this?

Yep! I tried this for $5 and didn't work at all. Pretty crappy if you ask me.

It made me SO MAD! That was such a handy tool- let's say I needed to find something around $8 to qualify for a perk that had a minimum of $35- now it's SO much more difficult. It's like they're purposely trying to keep those with free shipping from finding low-cost items- I can't think of another reason for them to do this.

Oh I hear ya there!! I was super mad as well!! I like to search by price like you said or just because I want to see if there is anything on sale or any travel sized or just whatever in a certain price range. It yet just another disappointment and for me to start shopping elsewhere.

After you type $1 and hit enter, just set from low to high. It works to find the lowest-priced items site-wide

I've also got the $0 to $3 search book-marked and it still works, if you want to be a geek for 30 seconds, here it is, it'll save you a step or two.

If you'd like to search for different $ value, just substitute the number at the end with your desired $ amount and it'll bracket the results specific to your input.  Example if you substitute 8 for the 3, it'll give you the range from $0 to $8 and other related results.

The email I got was with a Nars Illuminator, not the dior lipstick.. how odd.. did anyone else get that one? I don't want it, hate those :/ but I could have used the lippie.. ugh
