Can anyone tell me what the two scents are similar to? I like lighter things so often I don't love the fragrances that everyone else does.. I don't have flash so I'd have to pay for shipping.

I am so turned off by all the men samples in the choose 3 sample section.  I am really discouraged from shopping due to the selection.

I completely understand what you're saying! The sample selection is terrible right now. Sephora seems to have either amazing samples or really crappy ones and it doesn't make sense that they haven't timed it out to release equal amounts of good and crappy samples at the same time.

I got the Black in gratis, it smells like vanilla, very pleasant. I am allergic to perfume most of the time so even though I liked the smell, I gave it to my mom. I might regret it later, lol, but it was nice. Not sure how else to describe it, just vanilla :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Ok fellow MUT-ers... I took the last full list posted and tried all the codes plus all those that have been mentioned on this board through today.  I crossed everything out that came up as expired or out of stock; I'm not sure if out of stock means it will come back in, so check those if you want.  This board is supposed to be codes only, so hopefully this gets us back on track!

Thanks guys!

Thanks! On another note, I bought the customized Skincare set from SiJCP yesterday and didn't get the bonus points coupon. Has this happened to anyone else? I reached out to Sephora on Facebook. I wonder if I can get the coupon now or if it's too late. I want my bonus points!
There's no coupon. As long as your purchase was linked to your BI account, you'll get the points by the beginning if March directly on your account.

Ahhhh....thought you were talking about the skin are double points. I think this is specific to JC Penny Sephora. I'd say contact the store you got it from and specifically ask about the 50 bonus points coupon. Good luck.

No, not to me.  Atelier Vanille Insensee is more fresh true vanilla in my opinion.  The Nirvana Black is like a smoky vanilla.

My husband and I hated the Nirvana Black, it was very strong and smelled like cheap perfume vanilla mixed with cigarette smoke (like a smoker trying to hide their stench with vanilla perfume to be exact).  I've seen several people say they like it though, everybody's opinion is different, I'm not a huge fan of vanilla to begin with, and I'm a harsh critic of it, lol.  ((I LOVED Nirvana White, it smells very similar to Folle de Joie perfume))

I love reading how perfumes are for other people, it's always eye opening. Usually stuff likes this comes down to preferences and body chemistry. I LOVE the Black and so does my husband. The White smells like powdered roses on me, lol. Not knocking anyone's taste, scent is a very personal and particular thing and should always be applied to skin to make sure nothing changes. It's one of the reasons I love samples. My mom loves "G" on me but if she puts it on she smells like an alcoholic, it makes her sad. She loves Be Delicious but when I try it on I smell like rotting apples. So its always amusing to me to see what things smell like to other people, especially with graphic descriptions like smoker's vanilla

Hey, I smell like rotting apples with the Be Delicious too!  My husband likes the smell of apple, he thought he'd like it on me.  Nope! :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

It is actually interesting, both Nirvana scents smell exactly the same spritzed on the card holder as they do when I spray them on me.  Rarely does that ever happen with me/fragrance.  I really wanted the Folle de Joie from Birchbox, but 100$ is a bit much, and I'd never be able to get through the bottle before the scent turns, it is so large.  I was really happy the Nirvana white was so similar, and the slight difference to my nose was for the better.  I don't get powder with White, but I do get roses, which I like.

9 times out of 10 I hate vanilla anything, I think my mom's preference for it while I was a kid killed it for me.  I do like the Atelier Vanille fragrance though, snagged up that duo travel bottle with the orange at Christmas time.

Fragrances are weird though...  Like, I remember hating the powder smell of Kenzo Flower when it came out.  Couldn't wash it off fast enough.  I got the 100 point perk of it from Sephora at Christmas, and now I love it.  Not enough to buy a full size, but I love what I got.

Fragrances can really turn on me as well.  When Lolita Lempicka first got popular in the late 90s, my sister-in-law and I went out shopping one afternoon.  She had just bought it and it smelled SO good on her - I purposely commented to tell her so and to ask her what she was wearing.  When we went by the perfume counter at Saks, she grabbed a bottle to show me and almost hosed me down in it.  Immediately it started to turn.  It was AWFUL.  When we left the mall and got in the car, I don't think we made it 5 blocks until both our husbands insisted I go into a McDonald's bathroom and scrub it off.  We left my jacket in the trunk just in case.  It was THAT bad.  She smelled like heaven and I smelled like a corpse rotting in hell!  We still laugh about it.  But I can put on CSP's Vanille Abricot, also a vanilla-based scent, and get grabbed by total strangers who ask what I'm wearing - it's amazing on me.

Mildly freaking out here. Placed an order Friday that is still in "sent to warehouse" status...been checking daily for when it would ship and now today I see that item is permanently out of stock.  Should I be worried?  Or if I placed my order a few days before it went out of stock should it still ship?  I will be so disappoited if they don't come through on this.  It would be the 2nd time they messed up and of course they just shrug their shoulders and say, Oh well, here's 50 BI points, as if that makes up for it.  I'll try not to jump to any conclusions, but it worries me it hadn't shipped yet (though I did try to remember it was the weekend and holiday).
