Yea, I wasn't like correcting you or anything, just I guess explaining what goes on at my store.

We do get cool gifts with purchase to give out, or things people can redeem for free with a mailing they get at home. I have yet to figure out how to get a mailing because I've never gotten one lol.. maybe they excluded me bc I work there :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Technically, they it should.  I'm getting the sense that JCP's POS system isn't linked to Sephora's POS system and probably needs manual reconciling regularly.

My points from SiJCP didn't make it in despite the call center's CS repeated assurances.   One CS expressed doubt at what I was saying and I was just too over it to even be miffed.  What resoloved it was that I volunteered to email a snap-shot of my receipts from the purchases made nearly 4 months back...  then the points made it into my account within the week.

I do hope that you have better luck then I do :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />...

I've never received a mailing as a VIB-R either.  At the same time, I don't get emailed all the promotions either, but I was invited to a Sunday brunch and that was fun.

I think Sephora means well, but it's back office is just not terribly coordinated when it comes to effectively disseminating information, i.e. promotional details to employees, promotional information to BI, VIB or VIB-R, linking up accounts when they update from BI to VIB or getting points into SiJCP.  Corporate really need to invest more time and money into the nitty gritty of these things.

Hey guys, sorry if this was brought up, I haven't been on the thread in a few days, but do y'all know about the code "VICESWAP" ? With a $25 purchase, you get to pick 2-Count 'em TWO deluxe samples from a list of about 12! There's some pretty decent ones...Too Faced Mascar, Stila BB cream, smashbox primer, nuxe oil, etc...

Now I'm tempted to buy something, even though I have too many samples right now...Any enabler ideas of a great product in the $25 range?

i've had the nars satin lip in Luxembourg in my cart for a while now & with this promo i couldn't resist! its such a pretty shade you might want to look into it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm drowning in Lippies right now, but when I went to look at the color I saw the Nars Radiant Concealer and got that =) Thanks for the suggestion!

I have a 10% off code that I think will work as long as you're at least VIB that I'm afraid is about to stop working (it says 'reset Jan 14')- I really don't have anything I need or want right now except those Kat Von D liners, and I already ordered them once early this morning so I don't want to duplicate. Does anyone have a pricier item that would make a 10% code useful? I'd rather it not go to waste.

Some are good. I don't know about the sets. Generally speaking, brush sets aren't always as good as the brushes sold individually. I like the Sephora shadow blending brush quite a bit, but my big powder brush sheds..

I hope you get a good set. <3! Let us know how they are if you get them

I actually got this during the extra 20% off of sale items was going on. The bristles are good quality, and work better than I expected for the $25 I paid for. However that being said the handle itself is made out of a flimsy material and it just feels a little cheap. Also the powder brush is way too small to use as an all over powder brush but it works nicely to set powder under your eyes and other small areas. I really do enjoy the stippling brush and the eyeshadow brushes are a nice addition as well. Hope that helps :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks for the feedback! I ended up ordering it, so I'll give them a try and let you all know what I think.

I've been sooo tempted to try the Bite Agave Mask.  It has great reviews on Sephora's site too.  I'm glad to hear that you think it's worth the money.  Still not sure I'll get it now because I have an Ipsy bag coming with lip balm in it, but if the Ipsy lip balm is bad I may go ahead & try it.

I got an interesting "extra" in my order that came today. 7 postcards with those flat little peel-off panels of perfume. Do they want me to mail them out or something?? haha...just kinda strange. But anyway, they're apparently offering triple points on fragrances Feb 5-14. Just a heads up in case people were buying.

Dang! I just bought a fragrance at Sephora on Sunday! Oh well I missed out on the triple points I suppose. I'm tempted to buy more but I am on a perfume no buy and shouldn't have even bought what I did. I'm such a rebel ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
