One thing to try with men's fragrances, if you are having trouble sleeping, try a men's fragrance that smells good to you on your pillow.  This was suggested to me by my doctor and it worked--apparently many men's fragrances are formulated to make women feel "comfortable" and make us want to inhale deeper, which can lead to a more relaxed and deeper sleep.  Who knew?

I actually like/wear unisex and men's fragrances to a point (especially citrusy and lavender scents), but the sample selections definitely seal the deal on all of my Sephora orders. I often enjoy them way more than the $25 worth of makeup remover I purchased to receive them, ha.

Okay so I have that Drybar brush for my girls hair and it works AMAZING to get out the tangles, but the bristles on it get pushed into the base really easily. I'm constantly having to pull them back up all the time. So it's kind of a PITA in that regard, I've thought about taking it back to see if I just got a defective one. Just wanted to give you a heads up!

thanks for the heads up! i read some reviews on sephora.com and they were saying the same thing. in fact, when i went to the store, i checked it out and the sample/tester brush has bristles pushed into the base! there are some awesome reviews though so i figured i'd give it a try. if mine does that too, i'll probably exchange it for a new one. and if that does the same thing, then i'll give up. lol. can i say that 90% of the reason i'm getting this is because i loved the color/how it looks? haha

I have the same brush and don't have that problem.  I think you have a dud, it shouldn't be doing that.

That....is so interesting. As an insomniac (since childhood) who would greatly love to not be one anymore...I must try this. Thank you, oh wise puppymom.

I have found scents to be very relaxing at night although not enough to cure my insomnia they do help me fall asleep more quickly when I remember to use certain perfumes or lotions before bed.

Same. I've been sleeping around 1-2AM lately and wake like clockwork at 4 every single morning. I can barely function at this point between being at school from 8-6 and then having to go to work. I feel a little better today because I managed to completely pass out for 3 hours yesterday afternoon and then slept another few hours at night, but that was just a one-off. I need to figure out how to fall asleep around midnight and to stay asleep until my alarm goes off at 6.
