Same here!  I once went into a Sephora where the SAs were horrible.  I went in looking for an undereye concealer and the first SA passed me off to someone else, their "undereye expert" and she said- in front of me- "So she doesn't want to actually fix the problem, she just wants to try to cover it up?"  I left.  I was in college and couldn't afford to drop the money on a $90 eye cream. That shouldn't have meant I wasn't good enough to shop there and that was really the vibe they were giving me.
So unprofessional! I definitely would have seen a manager about that one. It's bad enough when they don't know what they're talking about, but to go so far as to disrespect a customer is just unacceptable. (P.S. you spell your name just like me..yay! lol I never meet anyone who spells it that way)

i placed an order for the shiseido cotton pads to get the sample. it now says 'permanently out of stock' in my order history, although i tried and it looks like you can still select it from the samples. you guys think i'll still receive it? i would be sad if i don't haha

I've been eyeing up the Sephora+Pantone Full Spectra Eyeshadow Palette.  Last night I decided since it was on sale and I had a giftcard I'd just go for it.  Except, when I went to actually apply the code, it wouldn't take it because the palette wasn't on sale...but it was lower than the original price of $29.  The price of the item in the Night color was $20.01 (but the price of the Day color was $19.00).  I thought maybe only the day color was on sale, so I just shrugged and used a different code. This morning I browsed the site and I see that the palette has gone from $20.01 to $20.00 and is NOW considered on sale.  I know I would have only saved $4 but that's really annoying.  Has anyone else had something like this happen? Did you do anything about it?

Thanks for posting! I have wanted the Sephora Pantone Elemental Energy palette forever and it's on sale now too so I got it for $20.

It's still listed in my cart as in stock. Those Shiseido cotton pads are awesome, by the way. Huge upgrade over drugstore cotton pads.

I placed an order yesterday with that sample duo. It said "permanently out of stock" right after I ordered but it shipped with my other items today.

I also read this somewhere. It's been sold out at all 3 of the Sephoras near me for quite a while so I picked mine up at Kohl's. I wonder if the whole line is being discontinued there..
Sephora used to sell theBalm a long time ago and they don't anymore..It's now available at Kohl's as well. Hmm...

It depends on the stores, but I definitely have heard about LORAC items being discounted in several stores, including SiJP. It's true that they're pulling Lorac out of Sephora. I have been eyeing that Lorac Pro palette forever, too bad I couldn't catch that on sale ;( I called like 5 or 6 stores and they're all out of them. Kohl's the only place selling it atm i think

Sephora has been carrying like 3 or 4 TheBalm items for quite some time... doesn't make sense. they might as well don't carry the brand at all.

my sephora had signs on the empty naked 1 & 2. They were out of stock and trying to get them in as fast as they could.

I've heard some rumors that they're pulling the plug on Illamasqua as well, or at least pulling it out of the stores. Maybe old Sephora brands never die, they just languish in the sale section next to the velvet eyeliner appliques.

Haha, well speaking of SA at Sephora stories, I had one just the other day....I went in to see if the Too Faced Chocolate Bar had made it into stores yet and an SA popped up to me as soon as I stepped in the door and said:

"Hi! Welcome to Sephora, is there anything I can help you with?"

"Yes! Thank you, I'd like to see if you had the Chocolate Bar palette in stores yet?"

"Um....the what?"

"The Chocolate Bar palette....you know, by Too Faced?"

"Um....er.....Too Faced....palette?"

"Yes, the brand Too Faced. The Chocolate Bar palette is somewhat new, it's available online for purchase but I wanted to see it up close and possibly swatch before purchasing." ::silence, crickets::

"Um....well....let's head over to the Too Faced area." ::Cookie follows SA:: ::Cookie scans area and realizes within 3 seconds that the Chocolate Bar palette is not there....SA is still looking thoroughly at every Too Faced item and picking up palettes to read them::

Me: "Oh, I don't see it, you probably don't have it in stores yet then."

"Oh, um, no I guess not."

(I dreaded asking this next question...) "Do you know when you might?"

"Oh...ummmm......maybe....let me....go see."

She couldn't get her managers attention so she proceeds to tell me about the VIB program....

Her: ".....so you see, you could earn lots of perks!"

"Oh, yes indeed! I'm actually Rouge."

"Oh, you are?" (looking dubious)

"Yes"

"Oh..."

Then she walked off......LOL

I seriously have no clue what happened there.....
