Huh. Good to know. I was just at our local Sephora and talking to one of the SAs and she said the 9th, but it's a newer store so she may have been misinformed. Either way, both are in the time frame for the code so I'll just have to wait a few more days /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> 

It's the 12th... I believe it's also the same at Macy's, Ulta, etc.

I've been a sephora shopper for years and its so surprising to hear there are such extreme issues all of a sudden.

I would be interested to hear what sephora counts as multiple purchases for fraud.. Or are they some how tracking eBay selling or something?

And this is a total side note, you would be so shocked at what people will return.. Year old items, perfume that was replaced with rubbing alcohol, lipstick box with a cover girl lipstick inside, empty bottles.. They will even shrink wrap the box again. It's like, Really people?!? Its sad too, we just have to throw the returns away.. hurts my little makeup loving heart. I've also been so surprised at how often people steal perfume bottles and other items.

Anyway.. I can't help but wonder if there is a new fraud or social media person in place that will soon be they go.. It's all so bizarro.


its people like that, that make it so difficult for people with LEGITIMATE returns.

the best is when someone picks a product up off the shelf in my store and tries to return it.

It seems like they are all rouge. I haven't heard of any BI's or VIBs being banned

I used my $15 gc this morning and received my shipping email a few hours later, but I am just a lowly BI.  The only reason I used it earlier was because of 10% ebates today, but I wish I would've waited til I saw the email about the new perks and promos coming out every day.  I used the blitz code but there was nothing all that great in there since there was only 1 bag left.

Yay! I got my first Sephora order today. My two purities, boscia set, and my blitz bag! I got two extra samples along with my regular two, a fragrance sampler and a bare minerals foundation card. My blitz bag was awesome! I got a Stila CC cream instead of Smashbox and got a Lancome mini mascara, and a sephora anti aging cream as well.

I'm pretty sure they're not going to let you return $1000 worth of used items that I'm assuming you don't have the receipts for. They only give you store credit when you don't have a receipt anyways. It's a pretty sucky thing to do IMO. I understand that you're upset that they flagged your account, but you're only punishing the store you return to, who had nothing to do with your banning. As I assume they keep track of returns without receipts because they take your driver's license info, you'll probably be flagged again for the returns.

i'm pretty sure she said she had receipts for everything & was going to return it because she no longer wants to shop at sephora, which is understandable. There would be no point in her returning things without a receipt because she would receive store credit & that defeats the purpose.

Yeah I thought the poster had just bought a lot of expensive items and I assumed some were unused or to be gifted and that she was choosing to take them back to the store bc sephora banned her and she wanted to take her money elsewhere.

I ordered with my $20 off coupon on Saturday and mine has already shipped and the tracking updated.

I'm pretty sure they're not going to let you return $1000 worth of used items that I'm assuming you don't have the receipts for. They only give you store credit when you don't have a receipt anyways. It's a pretty sucky thing to do IMO. I understand that you're upset that they flagged your account, but you're only punishing the store you return to, who had nothing to do with your banning. As I assume they keep track of returns without receipts because they take your driver's license info, you'll probably be flagged again for the returns.

I have ALL my receipts as it would be pointless to get a store credit. I will ONLY be return items I have NOT used. Many items I bought are for gifts as I have family overseas whom I will visit during the holidays. I intend on returning all those items and repurchasing from another store. I am NOT an unreasonable person and would never dream of returning used items. Again, I will return WITH receipt and will return UNUSED items.

I actually think it's possible to return all of those items at once. I've heard of large returns without receipts before totaling in about the same amount. It does suck for the store you return it to, but granted how much they sell per month it's not as significant as you would think. You would likely be flagged for returns and unable to return after that for a while.

Yea I definitely agree. I was under the impression that she had the receipts too because it would be pointless to return.

Well make sure you can find the items at other stores because I know some of the items were limited or exclusive to Sephora. I say this because some of those items that you have for gifts may be difficult to find. Most of us were under the impression you kept your receipts. I hope you have a better experience elsewhere

If I were banned I would return everything too, I have a lot of new/boxed/sealed products from sephora I just stock up on for myself and gifts so I would definitely give those back and take my business elsewhere. Some place I could get rewards and gwp for!

So I had used the "suspense" code on my most recent order but received the shipping notice without it on there. Has anyone had this happen or maybe had it shipped later? I emailed, would be sad to see it not included .... it just may have been the thing I was looking forward to the most /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I used the supsense code and mine shows this: I ordered Saturday using my $20 off code and it shipped yesterday.
