Yeah, I'm pretty much only in it to shop with discounts and codes at this point, rather than accumulating for fakey rewards. Although back when VIB started there were good perks--did anyone else get the free two full sized Ojon products and the UD sin primer potion back in the day?
I remember! Those were awesome! I barely qualified this year and last thanks to helping my mom out with doing her teenage granddaughter christmas shopping for her at sephora lol I do a fair amount of my shopping with birchbox, I love codes and points. Plus I finally excepted that ill survive if I don't buy every new thing ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have no idea what's going on with Sephora, but like I said before, if you asked me 10 days ago, I never would've dreamed I'd be one of the people who are banned. 1. I have NEVER returned anything in store (or online) as of yet. (I intend on gathering all items I have purchased at Sephora or as much as I can of it and returning them ALL as they no longer deserve my business...probably close to $1000 of it). I'm so upset, I'm seriously tempted to ask my family and friends for the items back so I can return those too!! >_< 2. I have NEVER paid with a gift card or anything of that sort. It's either credit or debit card. I do NOT owe anybody any money. I'm debt free and financially stable. 3. I DO NOT buy an excessive amount of a product, unless you count 3-4 as excessive. It's usually because I'm gifting them or I'm buying spares because I love the product. Like I said before, the only thing I'm guilty of is using the same promo code a few times. AND the fact that I maximize the samples and promos buy splitting into a few orders. I mean, there's no rule (as far as I can tell from their bloody terms of use) against splitting up my orders. So, am I a fraud then???????? Anyhow, I'm done with Sephora.... BTW gals, sorry to be off topic, but I've got like $400 of items in my Nordstrom basket and I'm hearing about a beauty card at Norstrom. Any info? I'd like to sign up and start accumulating points before I make this purchse. Any help would be appreciated, thx! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Same here! I just can't believe how sephora are treating their vib rouge members. They seriously need to re think this program IF they are unhappy with us using the free shipping perk, promo codes, adding the free samples to our orders. They were annoyed that I placed too many orders in a reasonable period if time. Now they are coming out with a 25 day advent promo. I can understand why lots of people would be concerned for potentially getting banned. I thought they appreciated our business. They suspected me of wrong doing and even consider giving me a chance to ever shop online again. The final straw for me was them banning me from beauty talk... Wow.... Just wow. Hardly ever posted there... But how convenient is it to just try and erase us away.... And any post regarding vib rouge members getting banned I'm sorry too to everyone if this issue is taking over this post... I really am sorry. I have been able to find a place to share my concern regarding this matter. It's truly sad to see vib rouge members being treated poorly after asking what did I do and what can I do to fix this

I don't think I'm in any danger of being banned, I'm only a lowly BI.  But I do make sure to maximize every order I make with codes, samples, and discounts, which means they have a much slimmer profit margin from me than from any VIB-R.  I truly don't understand why they're 1) banning people, and 2) not doing everything in their power to bend over backwards to fix this issue for their biggest customers.

In fact, I plan on using my $15 BI card, plus a $10 Sephora GC I'm getting with Shopkick points, to get the Naked 3 palette for $25.  And you bet I'm getting 3 samples AND using either the Surprise code or whatever other multi-sample code is available at the time!  Sheesh, they SHOULD ban me...
High 5! Me too!

Can.NOT.Wait for Naked 3. I've been good about most of the other beauty store black friday/cyber monday sales just so I can justify the Naked 3.

Huh. Good to know. I was just at our local Sephora and talking to one of the SAs and she said the 9th, but it's a newer store so she may have been misinformed. Either way, both are in the time frame for the code so I'll just have to wait a few more days :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm terribly sorry that you, too, are banned from shopping online. To make things worse, they banned you from BT too, where you have all the right in the world to share your story. I don't know if you've been able to read any of the posts on BT after your ban, but one post is telling about how she saw on another post (not on BT) that the ban has extended to BT. Another commented that she noticed one person has "vanished" from BT.....as suspects that maybe she has also been banned..... I'm continuing to post on BT and expressing my dissatifaction as long as I can!

The scary thing is, is that I had no idea that I was doing anything wrong. It was only after I looked at my order history is when I saw that I got a little carried away during the holiday season and yes I split up my orders because I had the free shipping perk... But I honestly thought that's what it was for. That was my crime and apparently there is a team overriding anything the beauty advisors are saying over the phone for example ' I can help you place your order over the phone ' what gives?? I can't express my concern on BT. I would have been very polite about it considering how I was treated. I just wanted an answer as apposes to hearing different things by different people at different times.. Like they were in a rush to get me off the phone. I feel like becoming a vib rouge has got me banned. Their free shipping perk is useless if people don't know what the boundaries are! And if they are afraid to use it. In regards to multiples.. Perhaps they should set a limit or send a warning as apposes to banning people and making them feel terrible. That is not the type of consumer experience I want to have..

Sephora have taken every bit of joy I had shopping there. I have never known any other retailer try to erase their highest paying loyal customers like that. I'm just speechless. Also never actually received an email or phone call from them

Same here. I split up my orders because I wanted to maximize my promo codes and after I placed two orders, an item that was out of stock came back in stock so I placed a third order. Then an hour later, my sister asks me to get some items for her because she has no money on her debit card. Hence, the fourth order. I didn't think four separate orders was in violation of anything. Each was over $25 and the maximum of a single product is 3 or 4. So, it's not like I'm getting a million of them. I do admit that I shouldn've have used the promo code 4 times, but it was a very old code. I wish I was told I can't use codes multiple times. I mean, they did limit the blitz code one per person. I put that in once and a week later when I tried it again, it says I can't use it because I've already used it so I just left it at that. I, too, have gotten different answers from CSRs. First it was read terms of use, then it's because I purchased multiple quantities, next it was the promo code, and finally it's back to terms of use. What are they going to say next time? That I spent too much money???

The fact they'd ever try to use promo codes as an excuse for anything annoys me. We all know very well that they have the ability to limit the use of a code if they didn't want us using them. I dont usually break up orders to maximize them but on BF i used VIBSPREE twice because I placed two orders. I got my must haves, checked out to let other people get a chance to order, filled my car then ordered again. If codes are there I'm going to use them because I know full well if they wanted them to be one time use they have the ability to make them such. This whole banning thing REEKS of not adjusting software to account for Rouge. I'm wondering if behind the scenes the software counts rouge free shipping as a promo code. Is it confirmed that it's only rouge members or has a flash member been banned that I haven't heard of?

I was only able to use the blitz code once so they definitely have the ability to limit codes. The fact that I was able to use one of the codes more than once tells me that they don't care one way or another as the single deluxe samples are worth nothing to them. So far, I've only read of Rouge members being banned. But then it's odd because there are a whole bunch of Rouge members who have placed multiple orders and used multiple promo codes and they are not banned. Just doesn't make sense. At least I found out before BF that I'm banned so I was able to take my business elsewhere and ended up purchasing at Nordstrom, Ulta, & Bliss. I feel REALLY bad for those who ordered a bunch from Sephora on BF and then found out they're banned...... Anyone know Sephora's return policy? Can I return things that I purchased more than 90 days ago? I have ALL my receipts....do I get my money back or credit? I'm in the process of compiling my items to return......

They don't have a time limit for returns. You get store credit or exchange without a receipt, money back with one. They have been tightening up the policy over the past year or so though, so there could be unofficial changes.

Thx for the info. Do you know if they'll be forgiving if I'm missing a sample as I've already used it or would they refuse to return and refund my items if I'm missing a sample?

Thx for the info. There's hope for me then! Would they be upset if I returned all $1000 at once or should I split it up and go a few times?

We've been telling people we will have Naked 3 out on Dec .11th

I've been a sephora shopper for years and its so surprising to hear there are such extreme issues all of a sudden.

I would be interested to hear what sephora counts as multiple purchases for fraud.. Or are they some how tracking eBay selling or something?

And this is a total side note, you would be so shocked at what people will return.. Year old items, perfume that was replaced with rubbing alcohol, lipstick box with a cover girl lipstick inside, empty bottles.. They will even shrink wrap the box again. It's like, Really people?!? Its sad too, we just have to throw the returns away.. hurts my little makeup loving heart. I've also been so surprised at how often people steal perfume bottles and other items.

Anyway.. I can't help but wonder if there is a new fraud or social media person in place that will soon be they go.. It's all so bizarro.

its people like that, that make it so difficult for people with LEGITIMATE returns.

the best is when someone picks a product up off the shelf in my store and tries to return it.

Am I the only one having issues trying to check out today?  Every time I go to the final page to confirm my order, it takes me back to my cart saying one or two of my samples are out of stock.  It's been doing this for hours -- annoying!
