Best of all.... the BLITZ code still works on my account!  Got my 3rd one... the Tinsel Twinkle.  Wheee!!!

OK, and a question for the Stila experts out there... is there a dupe for "Kitten" in the Stila Artful Eye Collection #1?  That shade was on my SS's wishlist, and either the 1st or 3rd colors look like they could be a kitten-ish shade.  Since she also mentioned that she likes neutral makeup, I thought a light neutral palette would be more appreciated than a single shadow.  And of course now I'm second-guessing myself like crazy!!!   Heeeeeelp meeeeeee.
I didn't know that the BLITZ  codes worked still.   I went back online for another of the art of shaving and they weren't on the site at all

Also, this doesn't make sense either: Everyone this has happened to can still shop at the stores, just not online. How does that make any sense if they're using the "reseller" excuse?
It doesn't make sense. Seriously, what makes them think I'd continue shopping with them after the way I've been treated??? It's THEIR loss as it's the time of year where I'm spending a ton on gifts. AND, my money will NOT be going to Sephora. I've been loyal to them all these years, but a few days ago, for the first time, I shopped at ULTA and I was VERY HAPPY with the service I got. I was happy handing over $200 to them. I will most definitely be going back for many many more gifts!

@starlite2nite  I was definitely holding my breath as I typed in the BLITZ code!  2 of the 4 sets are gone, only Tinsel Twinkle and and Glowing Magic Radiance are left (seriously, who named these?  They sound like My Little Ponies), according to the Blitz Site.   I was able to locate the Art of Shaving Kit, but it's showing out of stock now

.

And I am having trouble finding ANY information on the Stila Artful Eye Collection Vol I.  Vol's II and III have swatches and color names listed everywhere, but I can't find any swatches or reviews for Vol I.  Has anyone ordered this?  Was it available last year?  It's starting to drive me nuts, lol.

wow, i already got a shipping notice for my order from last night (the buxom curtain call set)!

i think part of the diff is, people will place multiple small orders ($1-$5) per day just to stock up on free samples or to use coupon codes that require no minimum, (ALMOSTVIB) i don't think people are as inclined to do that with something like prime - there's no incentive for a customer to place numerous small orders at one time as opposed to just one larger order.
In my defense, my orders are NOT $1-$5 orders. Aside from one order I placed earlier this month that was $15, ALL my orders are at least $25. The reason I had to place multiple orders this time was because I was purchasing the Nails Inc. nail polishes which are on sale. I placed an order for myself and one for my sister. If any of you have ever purchased items on sale from Sephora, you will know that sometimes the items are out of stock and then suddenly appear again. Well, this happened and so I placed a third order to purchase the items that suddenly reappeared. Finally, after lying in bed for a few minutes, I suddenly thought of my friend's daughter who's a nail polish fanatic and would certainly LOVE some polish for xmas. Hence, the fourth order. I do enjoy the deluxe samples I get with promo codes, but I could care less about the 3 free samples as most of them are either given away or donated. Like I said, the only thing I'm guilty with is using the promo code more than once. I admit, it's my fault. However, should I not at least get a warning or even the chance to explain myself? I'm just so upset. They made me feel like I'm a criminal or something..... :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I think sephora is a really bad company. On Monday (early morning) I sent them an enquiry about some products that I've ordered before and I also asked them why my negative review was deleted from Sephora website. After that I got the confirmation email from CS saying they will reply back to me in 24-48 hours. And you guys know what, I still haven't got any reply until now. I felt so furious at their customer service. During the VIB sale, I ordered 2 exact same orders and it took them almost 2 weeks to send me (excuse me it's 3-day shipping service?) and they didn't even inform me anything about the delay only until I emailed them asking about my orders did they give me 100 POINTS (OMG thank you generous Sephora!)....

And now after I read your story I feel like I shouldn't waste my money on sephora anymore. Sephora doesn't deserve my money with such bad CS!!

Hi gals,

I'm new at this, but I came across this thread and it seems there are a few girls in the same boat as me. So, please don't mind my venting.

Long story short, I just found out last week that I can NOT place any orders online at Sephora.com. I kept getting the message that my payment could not be confirmed and my order has been cancelled. I called and talked with THREE CS reps in two days and they were NO HELP at all. They kept telling me to read the terms of use.

I then posted on BeautyTalk and a mod PMs me, BUT issue is still NOT solved. Her initial response after looking into my account is that I purchased multiple quantities of a product. I messaged back and said the most I ordered was THREE of one product. Is that too many? If so, then why do they place the maximum of a product allowable to be placed in the basket at TEN??? I then asked her to let me know how many is too many. She then changes her story and says that it's not the quantity of what I ordered, but that I used a promo code more than once and that I should be cautious of duplicating promo codes. So, okay, I admit I used that code four times. MY BAD!! BUT, after spending THOUSANDS of dollars, I didn't think they'd be so upset as to BAN me!! At least they could give me a warning first. Anyhow, I apologized and said I'd be wary of using a promo code more than once and asked if my ban is temporary or permanent. She responds by saying I am NOT banned and that I am welcome to shop online and in stores. SO, to test this, I placed a single order online for $25 and used ONE promo code I had NEVER used before. Guess what? CANCELLED!! Then I placed another order for $15 and did NOT use any promo coes. Guess what? CANCELLED AGAIN!!! So, I message her back and she simply says that she's sorry I can't purchase online and that I'm welcome to shop in stores!!!!!!! I mean, REALLY? Is that it??? Does she REALLY think I'll be shopping with Sephora EVER again??

Anyhow, I'm VIB Rouge who has shopped on sephora.com for many years.
1. I have NEVER made a return or an exchange.
2. I have NEVER called to complain.

Basically, I order, pay, and wait for products to arrive and that's it. I either use up the products, gift them, or throw them away. There have been a time where I paid a few dollars for a drawstring bag and never got it and once where one nail polish was missing. Even then, I didn't bother to call because it was so petty. So, I'm really a trouble free customer.

I know the terms of use indicates that they can revoke my membership and such (meaning they can ban me whenever they want). BUT, do I deserve to be banned just because I've used a promo code a few times?

It's ironic. Sephora lists FRAUD in the terms of use. They are accusing US of fraud, but it's actually SEPHORA who's a FRAUD!!! They lure us into becoming VIB Rouge and then cut us off!!

Anyhow, sorry for my ranting. I'm just SO upset. I was NOT able to purchase anything online which means I missed out on the $10 black Friday deals.

BUT, a company who treats its customers so poorly REALLY does not deserve my business. My thousands can be spent elsewhere.

Ulta and Nordstrom, HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand why they bother to make multi-use codes if you can't use them more than once. And what terrible customer service, especially for someone who has clearly spent a lot of $$ in their store!

I had never had to call their CS before, but I did yesterday with a question about the $15 off $50 promo. Talked to 3 different reps and got 3 different answers. Eeeek. They really need to get their **** together.

Without judging and purely as a an brain teaser...  for the folks receiving online flagging and banning - what is the split of the payment method that you are using, in terms of credit card and gift card?  I wonder if their fraud system has a strong tie-in with that factor, put in place as a measure to lost prevention.

Out of my ever growing VIB-R purchases, I think I've returned $80 worth of products that I was not able to locate the receipt for and about $40 of that I was able to use online.  I have however made 5 purchases of several items when a cool product, good price or promotion was featured.  I've tapped the ALMOSTVIB code enough times to give everyone on my gift list a set as a stocking stuffer.

Gosh I know I'm qualifying for rouge any day now...if I got banned from purchasing online I'd be absolutely livid! It's probably just a matter of time for me too because I've purchased multiples of things for the gals I work with for Christmas. If that time comes I'll definitely never ever shop at sephora again! Really sorry you have to deal with all that now :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
I hope this NEVER happens to you. I have NEVER signed up for any forums or anything before, but I felt like I need to share with all you know (and I REALLY needed to vent) since I read on this forum of many people speculating that the ban may be due to returns. However, like I mentioned, I have NEVER returned anything so that's not the case. Just be warned. DO NOT place multiple purchases and DO NOT repeat promo codes. I mean, you could probably do it, but you'd never know when or if they'll "catch" you. Then again, even if you don't violate any of these, they'll probably find some other way to ban you once you become Rouge! :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Well, I'm just so upset. I probably spent close to $1000 at Sephora the past 3 months. It's going to be a lot of trouble, but in protest, my sister is telling me to gather ALL the items I ordered the past few months and RETURN them ALL at the store!! Hhhmmm......what do you think they will say if I walk in and return $1000 worth of merchandise?

Don't take it personally, it's one on the chalk board against Sephora in your book.  Your power is your dollars, give them to another retailer.

I think the responsibility and ownership is on Sephora to plug in a 2 string software on the codes they would like to limit to 1 redemption.

It's a bit of a ****ie trap to leave 2,000 bite-sized cakes in the buffett table and then kick someone out because they went and took 1 too many as determined by a fraud protection software that looks for 'patterns' rather then basing it on at least half a dozen concrete parameter!!!

guess what my order got CANCELLED by sephora, and i called in to the VIB line, and the cs said that i violated some policy. like, i only order from sephora 4x a year and i have NEVER in the 4 years that i have been member bi/vib returned anything.  and i only ordered two of the 10 dollars deals??? she refused to explain to me why my order got cancelled. one more thing i actually never had a problem with sephora.

BF maybe?

If they did this to me, I would totally start returning stuff. Screw that.

That's crazy!  I have to ask, it's become my puzzler of the day...  you didn't use a gift card for the majority of your purcahses did you?  No judgement and no accusations here at all.

It's like Sephora's fraud system has some corrupt programming and it's just going around shooting orders 'down', yikes...

HAH!! So I'm NOT going crazy nor am I seeing things. They ARE deleting messages that are detrimental to them!!! You know what? When I was speaking to the 3rd CS rep over the phone, because she couldn't do squat, I asked to speak to a manager, supervisor, or someone in charge and you know what she said? She told me there is NO ONE like that who I can speak with. Does she think I'm 3 or something? How can there not be someone in charge there!!! I asked for names, emails, addresses, ect and she wouldn't give me any. She just told me to "read the terms of use". I told her I read the bloody thing four times and I even read it to her. I told her I want to file a omplaint and she told me to go online, and email them or I can write to them. I told her I don't want just anybody to get this letter. I want a name so I can direct this letter to this person and not have it bounce around and get "lost". She simply said it's not possible. In the end, probably because I wouldn't get off the phone, she said she has my info and will forward it to someone in charge and they will contact me within 24-48 hours. Guess what? SURPRISE!! It's been ONE WEEK and still no response of any kind. Do you really think the people higher up get any of our complaints???? Frankly, I think Sephora makes so much $$$ that they don't care one way or another.

uhm, no, i never get gift cards, but for this order i did use the one i got from groupon. sincerely, just one. could that be it?

also, u know those gift card u get at the end of year from sephora, i used my 20 dollars online, but that was last year.

Honestly I thought the first mention of someone being banned was a myth to scare us away but seriously...I'm finding this upsetting and quite puzzling! I feel so bad for all the shoppers out there who are getting treated like this...

that is kinda scary to read these comments about sephora cancelling orders and blocking members

I do most of my shopping on sephora and so what if I do multiple orders in a day and use promo codes?  Why not?  If they are complaining about the free shipping for Rouge members, then why doesn't Sephora get their act together and ship out multiple orders in one package per day?  HSN does this quite a bit.

If promo codes are supposed to be for a 1 time use and the website allows multiple uses, they either need to allow those and not punish the customer or shell out some money for a programmer to fix that.  As of this morning, I could still add the glitz bag to my cart if I wanted to - and I have 2 of them already.

I've ordered my favorite blotting papers many times now - I have 6 packages of them for me and got 5 of them for stocking stuffers.  And no, I didn't order them all in one order - as I am a rouge member now (and yeah, free shipping is my bonus and there isn't any disclaimer on it) - if I want to order ONE of the bosca peppermint blotting papers at 5 bucks and that is the only thing there, that is allowed.   If they want  a minimum purchase now on every order, then they need to program that into their system.   Amazon is doing that now (with their "add-ons" program)

Honestly, I'd write to your state consumer protection board.  In NYS, they take these bait and switch practices really seriously.  If a state gets enough complaints that Sephora is luring customers into high statuses and promising certain perks, then banning them for using the perks, I imagine they will start investigating further.  Either way, it behooves you to take these complaints to BBB, the state board, and any federal equivalent.  Make sure you very specifically detail your purchases, that you have not created multiple accounts to skirt maximum purchase rules, the amount of money you spent to gain your status, and the TOS provisions you are accused of violating.

Either way, I have never liked Sephora and now I'm just going to buy from ulta, qvc, nordstrom, beauty.com, beautybrands.com, direct, etcetcetcetc. This type of corporate nonsense is my pet peeve, and I refuse to award them with my dollars.

I've paid for 100% of my items with TWO cards. It's either DEBIT or CREDIT card. I have NEVER used a gift card before. I'd say I pay about 80% debit card and 20% credit card. When I do go to a store (which is rarely), I pay CASH. I have NO financial problems. I have NO debts, and I have NO criminal record (unless you count the Sephora ban as one)!!!!! My head already hurts from all the thinking about why I'm banned. So, perhaps, I'll leave the puzzle for you to figure out!!!
