Look how much catching up I have to do! It's a bummer when you twist your ankle and have to lay in bed all day *and* can't use your computer because you live alone and it's downstairs and you can barely hop to the bathroom...

ANYWAY. I've had my computer back for a whole day and I have two questions:

1. If you have already sent an item back you purchased from Sephora.com and want to send ANOTHER item back from that same package (so you have the packing slip but not the return slip), can you still send it back through the mail or do you have to take it back to a store?

2. Have any of you tried Bobbi Brown eye shadows? How are they usually? I purchased one of her palettes that I fell in love with, but have been terribly disappointed... the shadows have almost no pigmentation at all. Is this common? There's another palette of hers I want to try, now, but I'm scared. I did notice the palette I purchased and was disappointed in had more negative reviews than her other shadows. Any word on this will be appreciated... let me know how you felt about her shadows, please!

This is my favorite foundation of the moment!

1. I'm not sure! You could always do the whole "return without a receipt" jig.

2. When I've had my makeup done professionally, the place I went to use Bobbi Brown and I was very happy with the results. I do remember primer was used and a patting motion was primarily used so maybe that could be a sign of little pigmentation happening? I haven't swatched on my own though. I just feel like Bobbi Brown can do no wrong since she went to the university where my little brother currently attends but that doesn't mean anything for quality of her palettes!

I had the same situation (#1), and I called customer service. They were able to email me a return label right away. Sorry to hear about your ankle.

Called yesterday because the order I placed on November 7th hasn't a tracking number assigned to it yet!

Tweakabell postulated that it might be because of the Lip's tote being out of supply?  Oh I hope not... I don't even want it.  Half a dozen is more then enough and I'm probably using them to put gifts in for the ladies on my list this Christmas and be the Sephora marketing nymph via thier bags.

I am a VIB-R and I remember on 2 occassions they had given me 100 points for something or other but they didn't offer it this time.  I think too many late orders went out...  They likely offered it initially but as the wave of late orders crashed down on them, their manager probably realized that they'd be giving out 24987432984 100 point perks due this shipping debacle.

Sorry about that. I was just wondering. When I had looked back at my order, that was the only thing odd about it. But it has shipped by now. Not arrived, but shipped. Hope yours has too!!!

Thank you for your response and the well-wishes <333 but it's not the postage label I don't have (I have other ones from past purchases I can use), it's the little card you fill out where you mark which item you're returning and (I think) the reason code. This is so hard to explain, lol! I don't have it anymore because I already sent back one item from the same package. I thought I was going to keep this second item at the time I sent the first back, but I haven't touched it, and if I send it back now I can still get online credit.

I know if I take it into a Sephora store I can get store credit, but I hate buying in-store because 1. It's far  2. Not as many free samples (I'm greedy) 3. No promo codes for more samples (I'm greedy) and 4. No eBates (I'm greedy)

Do you guys think if I send the packing slip, which has my information, and circle the item I'm returning and also provide my email, they can figure it out? Has anyone else ever had a similar problem? If I call Sephora can they do anything for me? I know the people answering Sephora's email sure didn't have an answer... thank you

Sigh. Maybe I should just give up and return it in-store :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I understand what you're talking about for the packing slip/return form.

Theoretically, Sephora should easily be able to process it how you described if you were to send it in like that...  But I can't say they would do it, I've never dealt with returns via mail, I always take it back to the store since I'm not far from them.

How long ago did you buy it?  Unless you bought it more than a month or two ago and paid with store credit/gift card, you should be able to get your money back how you paid as long as you bring the packing slip in with you to the store with the item.

Sorry, I did misunderstand. However, in the exact same order that I referred to above, I also sent back an item that was fairly pricey that I had an allergic reaction to. I didn't want store credit, but I also didn't have my card because I had tossed it in the trash. The customer service rep told me to go online and print out my order and include that in the box. I just wrote on it that I had an allergic reaction, etc. and sent it back to Sephora. I got a refund on my credit card a couple of weeks later. It took a little longer than I expected, but I did get a refund. I had ordered the item in August and they still refunded me in late October.

I did notice a points reductions, but only 29 points. My returns were worth $80 something so I don't quite understand why they only took back 29 points, but I'm not complaining, lol.

I love love love Bobbi Brown but have also been disappointed with her eye shadow pallets. I think her cream shadow and gel liner s the best. I went to Nordstrom's and had my makeup done at a BB counter. I was to lazy to take my makeup off that night when I went to bed and when I woke the next morning my shadow looked like it had just been applied. I just got her smokey warm eye shadow because I thought it was beautiful but there was no pigment. I will stick with her cream shadows from now on.

Totally just took advantage of this for my nail polish secret santa. So many great glitters and special effect polishes up!

I feel the same way. My closest Sephora and SiJCP is an hour away.
