Okay, this sale event was obviously too much for Sephora. Towards the end Sephora went out and got drunk and has stayed drunk since.
The saga of the Hourglass Palette:
1. After much stalking, trying, cursing, crying I was able to order the Ambient Lighting palette.
2. I got an order confirmation, but no shipping confirmation.
3. I got an email saying sorry your order is cancelled because this item is out of stock.
4. Shortly thereafter I got the in stock email notification.
5. I replied to the out of stock email and said I had gotten the in stock email and could they please check because I had ordered it with the 20% discount and the sale was over.
6. Thanks to the lovely ladies on MUT I found out the code was still working (THANK YOU) so I went to the Sephora site and ordered the palette again.
7. Got an email confirmation of the order.
8. No shipping email.
9. Received ANOTHER email saying sorry the palette is permanently out of stock and they cannot reorder it.
10. Received my SHIPPING notification.
11. Received an email from a different CS agent saying the palette has shipped.
So this shipping notification is from the second order AFTER the sale ended?
If that is the case, thank goodness you ordered it again!
