Okay, this sale event was obviously too much for Sephora. Towards the end Sephora went out and got drunk and has stayed drunk since.

The saga of the Hourglass Palette:

1. After much stalking, trying, cursing, crying I was able to order the Ambient Lighting palette.

2. I got an order confirmation, but no shipping confirmation.

3. I got an email saying sorry your order is cancelled because this item is out of stock.

4. Shortly thereafter I got the in stock email notification.

5. I replied to the out of stock email and said I had gotten the in stock email and could they please check because I had ordered it with the 20% discount and the sale was over.

6. Thanks to the lovely ladies on MUT I found out the code was still working (THANK YOU)  so I went to the Sephora site and ordered the palette again.

7. Got an email confirmation of the order.

8. No shipping email.

9. Received ANOTHER email saying sorry the palette is permanently out of stock and they cannot reorder it.

10. Received my SHIPPING notification.

11. Received an email from a different CS agent saying the palette has shipped.

I hope this doesn't happen with the Big Pink Bow perfume. I ordered the rollerball and loved it so I put it in my cart and it sold out. Sunday night it came back in stock and I snapped it up but all these order cancellations have me nervous. My local sephora has it but not on clearance.

So this shipping notification is from the second order AFTER the sale ended?

If that is the case, thank goodness you ordered it again! 

 
i got a package today and realized one of my items wasn't in the box! i searched every sheet of paper. what should i do?

Call them and tell them. They should send you a replacement, or refund you the cost of what you did not receive.

In artificial lighting, I look sightly sick lol. I'll probably mix it with others or give it away/trade if someone is dying for it.



Rhubarb - A prettttty pinky/purple color. Darker and not as red IRL. My second favorite after cranberry.



Adorable box they came in with a full mirror! Slightly bigger than an altoid tin.



Swatch on hand - cranberry, quince, rhubarb, madeira

They are all smooth and creamy. Very easy to apply and only need to go over the lips like 1x for full coverage. I adore them and am happy I picked them up!

I received Benefit's Gimme Brow today and it's getting returned. The color doesn't match me and it doesn't work for my brows. My order with Anastasia products comes tomorrow :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Are you VIB? If so, call the VIB line. I think it's 1800 VIB ONLY? Anyway, they are always super nice and will believe you. They may ask for a photo, but I'm sure they won't.

I know this was hours ago when the sephora brushes were being discussed, but the pro line is phenomenal. I have slowly been buying them individually. They do have a set online of the pro brushes in a standing easel for $275 I think.
Thanks. I will look into it. My first g/c is on its way. Hope I can hold out and not spend it right away but with a daughter already make her Christmas 'make up' list that might not happen.
 
I hope they are doing the BI gift cards again this year! I've been eyeing the naked palette. for you ladies that have it do you prefer naked or naked 2?

If you can't get in online, let me know.  I saw them at the SiJCP (on sale) here in Southern CA and would be happy to go shopping for you!  Or if I happen to be your SS I now know what to get you!

I'm hoping that Naked 3 is out before the next discount/GC round.  All of those shimmery pinks are much more my speed than anything in either 1 or 2.

 
I know everyone around here lives for sparkle, but I wish the Naked 3 palette had more matte shadows. I love my Naked 2 palette but I just wish it was more 50/50 split.  I think sparkley shadows don't always work for me.
