@KellyKaye , I am super happy with the purchase! Here's some quick swatches on my lips:

Cranberry - beautiful red. pigmented and goes on smooth

Quince - in person, looks wayyy pinker and not at all like cranberry, shows up more red in my picture for some reason. still a great color.

Madeira - The nude. Meh, this was the one I was least excited for TBH. It looks far better in this person than it does in real life I think. Maybe it's just this lightening that it looks ok. In artificial lighting, I look sightly sick lol. I'll probably mix it with others or give it away/trade if someone is dying for it.

Rhubarb - A prettttty pinky/purple color. Darker and not as red IRL. My second favorite after cranberry.

Adorable box they came in with a full mirror! Slightly bigger than an altoid tin.

Swatch on hand - cranberry, quince, rhubarb, madeira

They are all smooth and creamy. Very easy to apply and only need to go over the lips like 1x for full coverage. I adore them and am happy I picked them up!
Those colors look great on you!

@saku

Here's swatches of
Comex platinum, kitten, comex gold, comex copper, and metallic merlot. If you have ??s about another shade and see this in time just LMK ! I've been walking around the store and these swatches are SUPER messy!

Now I want these!

I used the liquid primer thingy. Texture is smooth. Within 5 or so minutes I did have a ton of fall out/crumbles but for the most part it felt "stuck". My main complaint is that it is "buildable" but it starts to literally "build up" yanno? The last is the black gold and it is my favorite. One drop of the primer was used for my entire arm. I'll add pics and videos to my Instagram tonight/once I'm out of the mall. I'm trying to decide if I want the Tarte airbrush foundation or not! It looks really really nice but I usually just wear BB cream and go. Hmmm. More things on my face - yes or no?

@usofjessamerica  is the last one vintage black gold?? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!  :w00t:  did you use a primer underneath it? how is the texture? (i mean, is it gritty? etc..) does it feel like it's 'stuck' once applied, or is it falling out?? THANKS!!

Haha. I used to use BM when I was first getting into make up. I'll check it out today. I guess I don't feel a rush to get it since Tarte has 20% off sales fairly regularly IMO. I tried it on Thursday when the Tarte rep did my face and I was pretty "meh" on it. Well, a bit better than "meh" it was alright. I guess I'm just trying to get a second opinion to make me like it more ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
I'm starting to go back to basics on the makeup and skin care as my skin has been freaking out. I will let you know what I think once I get it. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks!.. what i meant is if you used a udpp-type primer underneath the swatches -- but it sounds like you just used the liquid primer thingy.. i'm seriously considering getting one! (or two! i like the comex copper too!)

Just get one and try it out before getting more! I'm glad I just got one. I had a reaction to the primer. I took it off about eight hours ago, and I'm *still* itchy.

I don't think it would work without the liquid. It's not like normal eye shadow. It's like foil for crafts but... Yanno for your face.

hahaha! i just thought when i saw the stila demonstration video, they tried it both with the normal primer base + liquid primed-shadow (better color payoff!) and also with just the liquid primed-shadow. but i can be wrong.

you're totally right! i'm sorry about your skin reaction. hope it gets better soon!

Oh! I didn't know that. It kinda just fell off when I tried to put it on my bare arm.

i bought the dusty rose stila eyeshadows last night, i've been wearing it with the stila liquid primer and no other primer, applied with my fingers for about 5 hours and have had no fall out thus far!  i also may or may not have purchased THREE YSL Glosses....

Did it fade at all when you were wearing it? I saw a bloggers review that it faded drastically after a few hours and continued to do so throughout the day but perhaps she applied it wrong.

I have no idea what the wear is like. I only wore it for an hour or so and had to take it off due to an allergic reaction to the primer. I've had glitter smeared all over my face around my eyes like a bandit mask ever since. It does *not* come off easily.

Oh yeah it took 3 cotton rounds to get those swatches outt and I have glitter EVERYWHERE.

Okay she must have not used the liquid or something. She talked me out of buying it but it sounds like her review was way off. I hope your eyes get better! That is a scary place to have an allergic reaction. Thanks everybody!

Oh yeah. It was impossible to stay on without the primer. I took a video while it was being applied and looking back on it, it definitely just flakes off without the liquid.

Never planned on actually posting, but... I waited too long to pull the trigger and now Tarte's Off the Cuff blush palette is out of stock. I've been pining away for it for months now... Does Sephora restock holiday items or shall I fill my cart with something else so I can use the VIB code my friend shared with me?
That sucks! You might be interested in the mini tarte amazonian QVC blushes. They're $29 plus shipping and they're super adorable.

I'm thinking that's what she did. She said it was practically gone an hour later and completely gone within two hours. I'm glad you guys posted on it cause I had ruled it out completely and now I have swatches! Thanks!

I just broke down and ordered the Vice 2 Palette.  It's my 3rd order with the 20% off.  I think I'm done now, though.
