i'm so glad it worked out! mine haven't come back thicker. i don't even think that's true, but i could be wrong. it's a lot easier than bleaching, though, especially her age.

the bleach does sting a little. i bleach my arms and it stings, but when i rinise it with cold water, it feels much better.

you're really a great mom, kim. my mom would've never done that stuff for me :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

glad you found a solution kim :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> i agree bleaching is the best at her age. and please dont use that 'thing' on her, its practically a razor but different shape!

Hair really doesnt come back thicker using a razor, it's an old wives tale, it just looks like it at first b/c of stubble. I have shaved a lot of things and that hasnt happened in 10 years. I wish I could bleach, but my skin is extremely sensitive to harsh chemicals, it turns my skin bright red, burns like I set my skin on fire, and itches so bad, I actually used to cry when trying to do it. I dont do it anymore. But yeah, bleach is fine for a young child, I would think less scary, and I am sure most people dont break out in a rash from it like me. Glad the little one was happy!

oh my god, that sounds exactly like my childhood. i started doing the hair removal thing when i was like in 4th grade. i still have that problem and i used to waxed my face, but i keept breaking out very bad (and all the time). about like 2 years ago, i started using those little face electric shaver things and it works really well. it doesnt hurt, and i dont break anymore. its quick and you dont have to do it as often (i do it about the same amount as i did when i waxed). waxing your face too much can really mess it up (this is from years of experience).
