Phthalates in cosmetics

Hi everyone

What is your opinion about phthalates in cosmetics? Do you use them or not? Why?

Nay. I try not to buy products with them in, i look for containers that do not contain them (PP containers). They're not good for your health, some have serious suspicions on them, some like bisphenol A are known suspects. We get exposed to phtalates enough times in our daily life i try to minimize my part in that exposure. I only wished the makers of plastic indicated more clearly the type of plastic i have in my hands.

I try and stay away from phalates and parabens and use natural hair care lines such as John Masters.

I try to do my best to avoid every nasty chemical in cosmetics and personal care products. I always check the ingredients in Skin Deep Database.
