Hello!  I am dying my hair a red auburn color and am looking for a shampoo that will both moisturize my dry hair and leave my color vibrant - color depositing would be excellent, but as long as my color is still bright, I'm happy.  I have looked into ones such as Matrix Biolage's Hydrating Shampoo, sounds promisingly moisturizing but nothing is mentioned about color for it, so I'm thinking of purchasing it anyway adding a bit of Professionals Protein Filler #10 Red to it to enhance my color.  Would this work?  Or do you guys have any other reccommendations?

Thanks!

Well for colored hair you should always get shampoos that are made for colored hair but if you want moisture then another solution would be to get just a regular moisturising shampoo, and use a separate hair sunscreen because the UV filters are what protects your haircolor. I could suggest Loreal Elseve shampoo for colored hair, or Pantene, but i'm not sure they'd be enough moisturising for a dry hair.

For colored hair is good to use sulfate free shampoo, John Masters Organics Evening primrose shampoo for dry hair is my choise.

First NEVER use Panteen on your hair! The reason it feels soft is because it is all wax! EW!

I do hair for a living. Red is by far the hardest color for your hair to hold. The best red lines out there are Paul Mitchell, Goldwell and Scruples color Illusionist,

For dry hair.. I would recomend Rusk's Smoothing Keriten Shampoo and Conditioner as well as Rusk's  cure treatment. Works amazing!
