I talked with one of their customer service reps through the chat on the website, and he said the processing time is 3-5 business days. So hope is not lost yet!

Then they need to update their website - it clearly says 1-3 business days there, smh. Also, 5 business days of processing is ridiculous IMO. If some retailers can get an order out within an hour, they should at least be able to get an order out by 3 full days.

Yeah I was a little confused about it too. I actually placed two orders, because I only saw the apparel first and then saw the shoes and dresses after I had ordered. The shoes and dresses shipped the next day, but the apparel still says processing. So frustrating that there doesn't seem to be any consistency.

Seriously, with Gap (including banana and old navy) if you mess up an order you have basically a couple HOURS to change it before they get that baby ready, I've tried to change my order several times (i'm so indecisive with sizing) and was unable to just after a few hours.

Agreed! I ordered something from Ruche yesterday and I got a shipping notification just a few hours ago. I don't expect things to get done that quick by everybody, but this is getting ridiculous. Especially since people are already getting their orders and mine hasn't even shipped.

Their ops and inventory system need some TLC. I've had to wait five business days and experienced oversells on regular orders, not just stylish surprises.

As someone who has worked projects in inventory control systems and optimization it makes me cringe to think how much of a mess they must have lol. I'm really hoping my the accessories part of my order doesn't get canceled, I was so excited to finally catch them "in stock"!

I contacted CC and the response I got back was:

It looks like the order might have a potential oversale with the order and that is what the hold up is. Our shipping specialists are trying their best to include everything in the order for you. You will be notified if we are unable to include anything in that shipment and you will not be charged at all if we cannot include it.

I ordered 4 dresses and 3 apparel items and from what I have seen from facebook and instagram a lot of people who ordered only dresses have already gotten their items. So I think they probably oversale-ed on accessories, apparel, and probably shoes and they haven't shipped orders that might be missing something. It just sounds like a mess.

At least, that's what I think is going on.

wow, that makes no sense, one of my friends had two her accessory orders cancelled on her - our orders were placed around 11:30ish

also at this point i'm suspecting that its my dress that is holding my order up - or hell maybe its both.

it just seems uncalled for that some people are getting 3 of the same item, and some people aren't getting any.

Ok, live chatted modcloth pt 2 because i got distracted during the first round because it took so long (surprising? lol) and they basically said the oversale is holding it up.

At this point I'm going to assume there's something I'm not getting but who knows what.

Over the weekend, my bank account showed a pending $24 withdrawl (ModCloth was the only thing that was to come out aside from my $10 BB sub, which was already taken) and now that $24 is nowhere on my account and my overall balance is $24 higher than it would be if the modcloth stuff came out....I haven't gotten an email about overselling and my order being cancelled, but seems weird it would be deleted from my bank account and then come out again. *sigh* I am thinking I will not be getting my Stylish Surprises /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> (my order history still says pending on the ModCloth site)

Seeing people on Facebook get five of the same dress while others don't get anything is mind blowing.

This isn't their first stylish surprise, I don't understand how they dropped the ball so badly.
