The problem I found was that I don't know I want to organize products. I have things currently organized by brand (when possible) or by type. For example, I use a 3x5 index card box for my Wet 'n' Wild lipsticks (since that's primarily all of my lipsticks) while I keep all my WnW lipglosses in a Birchbox. I keep the rest of my glosses and sticks in a different box.

I definitely have to order by type of product...otherwise I will not have a good grasp on just how much of something I have. I'm a very visual person though.

Sephora's going to bring back their Sun Safety kit pretty soon.. I think that will be my only purchase, but it doesn't count because it's sunscreen and I need to find one I'll actually use.

But I'm extending my no-buy officially until my birthday (in May) and even then it'll be a low-buy. Hopefully going on vacation this summer so I will be busy with fun stuff instead of boredom buying online.

You just hit my OTHER problem. I have them loosely grouped right now (a drawer for eyes, lips, face, etc.) Not seperated by brand, but by type...although I'm wondering if I should do by color, instead (specifically thinking about eye stuffs here)

That's how my stuff is organized, too! Right now it works pretty well, but things are just piled on top of each other. I would loooove to have an individual drawer for each type of item like, blush, luminizers, foundation, primers, etc.

I have an old rolltop desk that I am hoping to convert into a vanity once we move. This get my stuff out of the bathroom (with the one sink and mirror) as well as out of the humidity.

I'm a little late to the party...I didn't want to go on a no buy! But I need support so here I am.

I have very little to look forward to as I've been bed ridden for 2 years. Getting packages in the mail is a nice treat when you've been in severe pain all day. Its a way of helping me get through this.

2 years later & I have enough makeup & skincare to last 3 years or longer

I don't need anything so my subs need to satisfy my addiction. I've been good since February 15th but I know if there is a awesome vib gwp from sephora, I'm gonna crack!

I try to ignore those Sephora gwps unless I'm out of something I always use like my primo foundation.  Of course, I always get those sorts of things during the 20% sale and I treat them like they're made of gold when they run low.  I did realize I'm now out of my MUFE HD primer and I haven't really found a replacement I like quite as much.  I have the Hard Candy primer which I really don't like and a sample of a Korres one which doesn't seem to work on me, but no go-to premium primer. 

I just made an excuse to get the next great gwp from Sephora, really.  The alternative is to keep seeking out other primers and ending up getting stuck with stuff I don't like, but I could find something better.  Bah.  I need primers in a sub box!

I'm telling you, this stuff is an addiction, and when you're addicted, you find reasons to validate your decisions.  I managed to avoid the Nars gwp recently, but now I have something I "need," that's not likely to happen again.  Of course, at least I'm getting a better deal...

And I'm sorry to hear about your pain.

Good luck w/ your search for primer. If I happen to get one, would you like me to set it aside for you? I seem to get them all the time.

I gave into the NARS vib thing too! I'm glad I did because it's awesome, but I seriously don't need anymore temptation, so I unsubscribed from all Sephora emails.

It was really hard! But, I just figured that if I don't get all of these emails full of enticing goodies then there won't be the temptation to buy! 

And I kinda resisted the balm sale--my husband told me that he picked up a few things for me as a pick me up since I've been so sick and stressed out lately, so we'll see what those are! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Placed my last order on etsy for the sample of a bunch of lip colors I've been spotting on, the owner offered them to me for free since I ordered a full size concealer! And I decided this will be my last purchase on make up until I use up something. My wet n wild trio is almost hitting the pan! I feel so happy.

I have been buying and buying without actually using them because my bf liked me more without make up, but I have this bad habit buying buncha stuff so I won't run out of them easily.

And opened up a NYC palette I've bought last year when I started learning how to apply make up. It was actually good! No crease with my awesome primer from etsy.

While I was waiting for my friend to finish her doctor's appointment (I was her ride), I happened to go into Beauty Brands. Hadn't been there before, figured I'd be safe.

Uhm, yeah. OPI on clearance for 2.98.

Back on the chain gang for me.

Day One. (At least I'm not rationalizing this by saying, "Well, Day One is tomorrow, so I might as well do as I please today." Therein lies madness.)

Its ok! We all have moments of weakness lol. And that is a good deal.

This has inspired me to adjsut my "no buy" rules. I'm staying on no buy until I can go 30 days without buying anything. My goal was obviously to complete this in March but I've messed up a lot. (been good so far today!!) So, this will be day one for me, my new end date is April 6th.

aghhh I still am craving DS Mystery. Its such a pretty color. TOTALLY WORTH STARTING YOUR 30 DAYS OVER, lol.
