Two weeks ago I picked up two Samy products at my local Rite Aid... one called Icing which is kind of a "shape your hair on day two or three of washing". It's like a mousse that is mixed with hair spray. It lets you shape your hair either wet or dry (I use it on my dry hair mainly) and get a lot of volume with it for a style on a day I'm either too lazy to wash it or even to tired for a big deal style.

The other product I bought was 2-n-1 Gel+Hairspray "Fast Style" which too can be used on wet or dry hair. I like using that when it is damp, to give my hair a nice "scrunching" as it finishes drying.

Today, I bought a sample size can of "Fat Hair" 0 Calories Amplifying Hair Spray. A regular can is about $14 so I got a mini for $7 to see if I liked it. Well, liking it is an understatement... I love it!  It gives me great volume to my already thick hair without feeling like I have helmet head. Great product!!

Anyone else out there liking Samy products?  And if so.... what are your faves???

OMG it's o funny how some people can like a product you hate. I was using that Samy 0 calorie hairspray (the red can) a few years ago and my hair felt so odd. Well I went into my hairdresser for my regular trim and she asked in a weird voice "What product are you putting in your hair?'', she told me that my hair was being breaking off when she combed it, because the chemicals were causing it to get so stiff. Needless to say she told me to throw it away!

I had tried a Samy condition 3 years ago because it was on sale, I ended up tossing it.  I had given it to my daughter to use and her hair was breaking off in my hands in chucks.  Parts of her hair looked fried and dull and broke off in the brush because it would knot up in a rats nest.  I thought it was just a bad batch. We'd switched to conditioner cleansing and her hair is now shiny.

I guess you picked the right combo of products to work for you tho.

I haven't tried the shampoos and conditioners.... I like the ones I use. Samy's styling products seem to work on my hair without a problem .... yet!... so we'll see.  Then again, I have long, course, thick hair. It's pretty sturdy. I know for a fact my daughter, whose hair is thinner than mine, could never use them. She'd end up with rat's nests for hair.

I really wanted to love Sammy products. I loved the soft feeling after I used the shampoo and conditioner but after a week or so I always get dandruff.
