I have an ingrown hair on my leg and I heard its best to leave it alone, however I cant help taking my tweezers and picking it out and plucking it. Although it hurts sometimes, its very hard for me to resist. Is there any proper way to remove them?

I'd do an exfoliation first, that would probably help prevent them and help get those you do get out.

I get a few on my legs a few weeks after I wax or epilate them and I use a mesh scrub ball in the shower to free them up and let the hair break through the skin. I never dig them out and pluck them because they typically will just come back in in-grown..

I use to get them a lot too and now I just exfoliate before and after I shave or wax. I always exfoliate every 3 to 4 days this helps keep them away, but everyone is different. Find what works for you. I also use bliss ingrown hair pads. It's expensive but its the only thing that keeps them away for me.

I hate ingrown hairs!

I am the same way, I have to use tweezers to pluck them out, they don't grow back ingrown for me though. Make sure your tweezers are clean when you do it.

Exfoliating is supposed to help although I still get them every so often. The are such a nusance.
