Hi all.

Im blonde and i wondered is there any products to brighten hair without having to keep highlightening it all the time, Im having my hair highlighted again in a few days but I wanted to know is there anything else i can do to keep my blonde looking bright and fresh?

Ive heard about Lush and their marilyn conditioning treatment which im thinking about buying but is there anything else that will help?

I thought id ask here as there probably is quite a few blondes on the board

thanks

Use a purple shampoo like Clairol Shimmer Lights or Sally Beauty's Brand it keep the yellow brassiness away.  Another good product I hear is Manic Panic Virgin Snow.  I wouldn't recommend this one though because it's expensive as you only get 1-3 applications per tub depending on how long your hair is.

you're welcome :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />  I had platinum blonde hair for almost 10 years (did it myself) but my natural is black so I learned a lot of tricks along the way lol.

Actually any Blue or Purple will take the orangy brassy out of blonde.  You can use your favourite shampoo first as long as you end with the blue stuff last.  It can be any cheap blue.

If you want to keep your blonde bright and fresh, you need professional daily care products. May be you can get yours at salons! Good luck!
