Whenever I striaghten my hair it just lays super flat. I would like to make it look straight and volumized like this. Ive tried the volumizing sprays that you put on your roots and blow drying hair and all that stuff.....but it still seems not to work :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Product recommendations are welcomed! I will basically buy anything if it will make my hair look like this :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> hehe.

I love those looks! I always straighten my hair, but then it lies falt. the best thing that has worked for me is backcombing the hair with a thin comb, and applying hairspray to the area. then flip it back so its in its original position and LIGHTY comb on top so you can make it look neat again. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I hope that makes any sense, cause i am normally terrible at explaining things!

THanks! I never thought of doing it. Im definitly going to try it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I've tried the whole teasing thing but it dosen't work so well :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> is there a specific comb that you would recommend?

Ooh! I really like the second pic of Hilary Duff. Sorry I can't help...I have the same problem.

um.. my hair is always like that... straight and puffy( or shld i say have volume??) sometimes it gets so annoying...

you can try bed head voluminizing thingy.. i forgot the name tho.... sorry i can be much help.. but that helps my sister achieve the volume she wanted..

oh! and remember to blow up your hair much higher than you want to because it will simply go down in a few hours..

sorry if it sound bad.. i just woke up

Thanks :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I will definitly look for the "bed head thingy." hehe. Im sure I could find it if I ask the lady at the beauty supply store.

Thats my fav pic and hair too.

They dont look like they used a flat iron so... I would suggest you blow dry your hair

upside down (starting at the nape with you hair over your face and head tilted over) and try using weightless volumizing products, nothing that will weigh it down, but if you dont have issues with frizzies then try applying no product at all, just a good shampoo and conditioner.

a good layer or texturizing cut and overdirection with a round medium brush start at the base at the root take the nozzle of the blowdryer and hit the root close to the scalp but not to to close and keep winding the hair around thebrush taking the nozzle up and down and keep hitting the root until you are satisfied and you will get volume or you can use velcro rollers and sit under a hood dryer if you have one or blowdry it for a few min and voila or take a flat iron at the root .

yes blow dry with a round brush then use a texturizer and rake it through your hair with your fingers....I little teasing in the under layers will help too.......use an Ace teasing comb, readily available everywhere

Thank you all!!! I really appreciate the tips and I will definitly run to the store and buy the comb ASAP!

Maybe blow dry your hair straight and then just straighten any waved ends with an iron, Theres a video tutorial showing you how to blow dry straight.

the key to getting any curl to stay in with a curling iron is to use a heat setter like..............got2b curling iron styler............after your hair is dry you spray each piece right b4 u curl it............works great!!

I was thinking of maybe curling some of the roots and then covering them with straight hair, maybe that would give my hair volume. I love got2b products, I have like almost everything so I know I will love this product :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> thanks!

sometimes i found that it's also dependant on how your hair dresser cuts your fringe - I go to a Korean hair salon in Melbourne and my fringe just automatically sits like that where as previously it used to be a mess! - less fuss also with blowdrying it to the side - I find some mornings I just brush it to the side and it sits fine

Maybe if I take this style to my hair salon they will know how to cut it so it will look like this:kopfkratz:

THanks! I never thought about this before.

i knew a girl that went to a korean hair salon in hawaii and her cut and color looked so good, i also know aveda salons cut hair good too for that type of cut
