Ok, I think I'm gonna put highlights in my hair... but what color? My natural hair color is brown.

Hot Pink

Lime Green

Baby Blue

Black

Purple

Blonde

Or anymore suggestions? Please help! Thanks.

You could try golden, why not some reddish highlights ? The others are more extravagant, so i'd pick colors i could work with easily, and keep the other colors for parties (you could try a hair mascara).

It's up to you to decide which look you are going for, and i would suggest you seek a professional advice, the hairdressers can help decide which highlight will look best with your shade of brown hair.

i think a nice golden colour would be nice too. if you really wanted bright colours, you could buy clip in extension strips and just use them for going out

if your base color is a warm brown, go with a warm highlight, if its a cool brown, go with a cool high light, like a platinum, pale blonde, or a violet light brown, ash brown. if its warm go with a red brown, red red, brown red(there's a difference) or a light blonde with warm tones. Becareful you do not want to be brassy, thats not good. any other questions pm me.

If you have a warm base color why not try a blonde (on the warmer side, almost a strawberry blonde even)

If you have cooler tones i think the purple could be awesome!

I think blonde highlights would look great. My hair is naturally light brown and I get golden blonde highlights in my hair. The technique I get is called balayage. The highlights are hand painted in to create a natural sun kissed look. Also, the highlights grow out more naturally- I only get my hair highlighted twice a year. Jennifer Aniston also uses the balayage technique- her hair is naturally brown and she gets golden blonde highlights.
