Help on a dye please urgent

Ok so my partners little brother bleached his hair and it's a yellow blonde. He wants to go more natural but stay a blonde. I thought an ash blonde would work but I've been reading it can turn grey and green. Can anyone recommend a dye that will make him a dark blonde He wants to be a blonde of some sort but is just yellow and with school he may get picked on so I wanna help him sort it and his mum cannot afford salons. Please reccomend something Thanks people

I would try using a violet/purple toner and an ash blonde colour.

Wella ( Old lines) are at sally's these are no more then $5 and $2 for the developer.
