I have had really long hair since about 2005 and then because of reasons out of my control, I had to cut my hair off quite a bit.  So, I'm going to show the differences...

This was my hair about 6 months before I cut it, but it's the only most recent pic before I cut it, so my hair was almost down to my waist:

This is me and my man in Nov of 2009

That is what I cut it to in March of 2010

That is what it is now

Soooo... I cut it pretty drastic the first time and everyone was horrified/shocked, blah blah... especially my b/f.. haha

Yeah, I've been thru some pretty dramatic changes in the last three years, with my hair and other things.  Here's a picture time line:

2008 - Me au naturale, no color or anything in my hair.  I'm naturally salt and pepper.  I started graying when I was 15 years old.

Me in 2009 after I decided to dye my hair as close as possible to my brunette color:

And today as a blonde

LOL.  I hear yah.  I had shoulder length hair at one time, then ear length....then I had extensions...now?  It's in a boy cut!  I love it!!!!

Yeah!

I have pics on my computer at home (I'll have to post later).  I went from hair down at my waist when I was pregnant to a short Haley Berry style!  I donated the hair to Locks of Love and Im currently growing it out again for my brothers wedding, afterwards, Im cutting it super short again.

Awwww I love the pics with the hunnies!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> WOW CF amazing long thick curls!!! I only wish my hair would get that long, I get just below the ****s and it stops growing haha, I will only cut it shoulder length as I tried the T boz mushroom cut in junior high and have been scared of short cuts ever since, and I'll dye it red but that's as jurastic as I go lol!

Jean I love the blonde the best, don't change it you look glowing with vibrance and youth, it's definitely your color!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I always had long blonde hair......until recently.

The way it used to be:

Before the color:

Flaming Cherry is NOT my color :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

My attempts to get back to blonde (still trying)

OMG.. Jean, that so did not even look like you with the grey, you looked good though actually believe it or not!!  But, I def love you with the blonde, not with the brown so much... and Kiki!!  I think the hair color you have now is reaaalllly pretty on you!!

Thanks everyone!  I like being a blonde better.  I think it suits me best at this time in my life.  Kiki I think your hair color now is gorgeous, I wouldn't change a thing.  ChangingFaces - I'd kill for thick full hair like yours!!

Haha, my whole life people always come up to me and tell me how they love my hair and would dye to have thick hair like mine, but actually I had to cut my hair for a reason.  Last year I was not living healthy and wasn't eating right at all, I was barely eating, I wouldnt eat sometimes for days and when I did it was barely anything, and I was putting a lot of toxins in my system and just treating myself like crap, so around Jan of 2010, hair started appearing more and more in the tub in the drain, and then when I would brush it, it was coming out, and little by little, it was just breaking off like crazy until I started getting really scared and thinking something was really wrong with me and I was crying thinking I was going to end up bald.. so I had moved down to Florida for a little bit and I was in Miami (where I lived) and I still was having serious problem with the hair so I figured if I cut it, the weight of the hair would drastically change and it would be a lot lighter, so I thought maybe my hair won't fall out as much and break off.. so I went to South Beach and treated myself to a real haircut, cuz I hadn't got my hair cut since 06 prior to that cuz I was too busy doing other things.. anyways, even after the haircut, my hair was still coming out, and then I started really taking care of it and nursing it back to health with Moroccan Oil and Keratin Complex products, and now today none of my hair falls out, and all the breakage is growing back and people still say "omg your hair is so thick and i love it" blah blah and I'm like please!  that is nothing compared to what my hair was!

I remember being younger and wishing my hair would thin out because it is a real pain in the ass to blow dry it takes like an hour when I do it myself because of how much hair and how thick it is, but then whe it started happening, I was NOT happy!  lolo
