My hair's incredibly thick. Horribly thick, i've always felt, hence i used to thin it so much. But the texture was horrible and unhealthy looking after being thinned.
Anyway, i discovered that i have a thin, long face. So thin hair isn't ideal for me i think. I can create volume without trying with my natural thick fat hair haha. So i grew it without thinning it.
This is what it used to look like:

Short uneven layers which i couldn't stand, had to keep thinning them out. Long stringy hair, like extentions, i'm so over that look haha, it really doesn't fit my personality :/
So after i grew it out, I got my hair cut from an expensive place, in hopes it would turn out nice. I kept my layers, but instead the shortest layer is a bit longer than it used to be. It comes to my chin i think. The hairdresser gave me tips on how to straighten my hair to make it look "flowy". Because apparently that's an ideal look for people with thick hair.
In a couple of pictures, i like the way it looks:

But in others i can really see how thick and big and not flowy it really looks.

I hate that.
I don't know what to do really. Straight hair looks horrible on me i think, because my hair's so thick the layers just look clumpy and horrible. But i can't really pull of a nice "flowy" look either because the layers are so thick. And as you can see in the above picture, it just turns out looking ugly. It's really annoying, i have no idea what to do with this big long thing on my head.
