hey

so i go to a salon to get my hair done i have brown and blonde ontop highlighted, but i have wide streaks

my browns too light and my blondes too dark..

is there any way i can do this myself, my hairdresser doesnt like using bleach for my highlights, but is these any blonde dyes that will make it look bleach blonde?

and am I best off getting a semi dye or permanant, i used to dye my own hair with loreal excell 10 and i loved the color so id love to use that brown again but keep my blonde highlights on the top but just brighten them up more.

i know every one says go to a salon but everytime i go its the same problem

Your hair sounds quite nice, to me. So make sure you get a professional to make changes.

Not sure I follow - you want the brown streaks you already have to be to be darker,

and the blond streaks to be lighter?

Go back to the salon and ask the hairdresser to make random brown streak the dark colour you like. And have them do random blond streaks as light as you want.

Thanks, i went and had it re done, the brown darker and the blonde brighter and i got charged half price so im very pleased :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I never do color my hair, because most of the hair color includes the chemical which can be harmful to hair. If you have any hair color in your knowledge which have natural ingredients in it then please let me know.

"I never do color my hair, because most of the hair color includes the chemical which can be harmful to hair"

All hair colouring has chemicals that can be harmful to hair - evven the hair colouring that is purchased and applied the most expensive salons.

The only kind of hair colouring that might not be as harmful to regular dye, is Henna.

From my understanding, Henna works as a mask or glaze, changing the colour of the hair.

There are not that many choices of Henna to choose from.

And once you apply Henna to hair, you are not suppose to use regular dye on hair again.

Black henna used to create designs on women's hand is never to be used on hands, feet or head/hair.

The reactions are so severe that some women have developed severe burns and scarring as a result of the black Henna.

Please investigate further about my last statement.
