But If I'm cooking salmon I just put it in a baking dish, pour a can of sprite (or mountain dew) over it, and add whatever spices I feel like that day . . . thyme or dill, maybe some parsley . . . salt, pepper . . . . just add whatever you like

ETA: Fresh dill, parsley, marjoram,garlic, rosemary, chives, summer savory, basil, tarragon, and lemon herbs like lemon balm, lemon thyme and lemon basil go good with just about any seafood
