I have lots of very fine hair.  I have been using Redken's Thickening Lotion, but I'm nearly out and would love to try something different to see if I can get better results.  Thank you in advance for any suggestions you can give me!

I have a youtube channel with TONS of videos on tips and tricks that is the link to my video on some haircare stuff for fine hair!!! I have REALLY fine hair as well and am always in need of some thickness!!!

I use castor oil overnight as a warm hair pack. It increases growth, gets rid of the spongey feeling that damaged, thin hair becomes like, and prevents itchiness and flaking of the scalp for those who have issues with that. It's cheap and works very well. When I use it I sleep with a towel wrapped around my pillow to prevent staining. It doesn't leave a bad smell in the hair, either. Too many/most store and salon hair products now contain silicone in them which is absolutely terrible.

TiGi Catwalk Root Boost. Ojon Thickening Volume shampoo & conditioner. Paul Mitchell Thicken Up! Styling liquid Nexxus Volumizing Mousse Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Harder, sprayed directly onto the root and backcombed.

Castor oil seems very interesting.. I think I'll try it! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I've only had a few homemade treatments for damaged hair (olive oil, milk, eggs, heard avocado is good too). I feel like products from nature won't damage your hair in any way and is therefore safer to use than salon products (which most of them contain alcohol - and that dries out everything!!)
