Thats all the way its styled. You want choppy layers meaning your shortest layer is about 3 inches from the scalp.

id say straighten inward at the tips if you want that effect

Ohhhh no no no lol. NEVER cut your hair that close ever. She would have alfalfa hair! lol not a good look. All that is is razor cut layers with it styled with a palmade or wax based product. If you want this done tell them you want a layer cut with it done purely with a razor or done with chaneling shears. the shortest layer should be no shorter then 7 inches other wise it will look like a Badddddd mullet.
