Just wondering if people still roll their hair w/ curlers. I have really long hair and when I use a curling iron, my hair tends to fall regardless of how much product I use. So I was thinking of trying some curlers but the little spongy ones left me looking like shirley temple...

Any word on how to keep curls intact or better curlers to use?

I used hot rollers when my hair was long.  It worked well, kept the curl if you use mousse and hairspray afterwards.  I plugged it in before I go in the shower.  Put mousse on.  Blowdry til hair is damp, not wet.  Put my hair up in rollers before makeup.  When I was dressed, I removed my rollers and spray.

i do almost every day. I use olivia garden self grip rollers roll hair while wet and let air dry. i LVOE these rollers they actually stay I have very fine hair and these grip.

I use foam rollers in my hair. I wet and roll... The curls last about a week, and I kinda like them more when they drop a lil bit.

i do it almost four times in a week, i use hot rolers , i love these ways, my hair  are very long and look sexy! and a strong grip,

I curl my hair with rollers all the time.  I use both curlers and the bendi rollers (flexi rods).  The bendi rollers give me a tighter curl that tends to last longer.  The curlers gives me more body, but is not as tight.  So I mix them to get messy hair kinda look (love that).  I use Tresemme Curl Activating spray before I roll the hair, and Garnier Fruictis Anti-humidity hair spray after to hold it.  Works well.

yeah   the sponge ones did that to me too! i cant seem to get the hot rollers to work for me, it will have some curls but some bends in it, like i dd it wrong with a curling iron, but maybe i was just doin it wrong, maybe you'll hae better luck! theres velcro rollers too but i havent tried them!

I flip back and forth with curling my hair with a curling iron, my GHD and hot rollers. Depending on what type of curls I am after.

If I don't have much time I'll add a few curls with the GHD or curling iron, though if I have more time I'll use hot rollers.

I have this great set from Babyliss Pro. It's the 'Babyliss Ceramic & Ionic Hairsetter 30 piece set'. It can either stand up, or lie flat and has lots of different sizes rollers, there's 30 rollers in the set, heats up well and holds curls beautifully. My hair is naturally quite fine, so I need to use a stack of hair spray for it to hold a curl. I find spraying the piece of hair with a bit of hair spray before putting in the roller makes quite a different, also using mousse before hand works well too.
