I have really curly hair also. Have you ever been to www.naturallycurly.com

I learned about it through this site. Tons of information about products and tips and tricks to style curly hair. I think you'll like it.

i love fructis deep conditioner. it really makes a difference in my hair, makes it soft and silky. and its cheap too.

I tried that brand and my hair did not like it. Felt like I was washing my hair with dish soap or something.

I think using a gel makes a big difference with my curly hair. I get the gel that my salon carries, but any gel will do.

Has anyone tried the JessiCurl products?

My hair is plenty curly on it's own, but I can't keep it looking good throughout the day in this horrid Florida climate. No matter what I do, by the end of the day everything is limp, deflated, and frizzy.

I was thinking of trying the Confident Coils Styling Serum to help with that. Anyone tried it? Any other recommendations?

Woohoo! CURLIE TALK!:rockwoot:

my hair is wavy/loose curl & thick. I straightened my hair since FOREVER and only recently went "au natural". Thank GOSH I did. The best choice I ever made. I LOVE my hair!

CONDITIONER: I LOVE Aussie 3 min miracle (original not deeep). It's my cheapie but goodie HG conditioner!

Shampoo: I really love Nature's Gate organic Chamomile & Lemon Verbena and Jessiculr hair cleansing cream is pretty nice too.

STYLING PRODUCTS:

My HGS are BIOSILK ROCK HARD GELEE (as previously mentioned).

I squeeze a good amount into my palms, add a couple drops of water, mix in palm then 1)smooth onto my hair and then 2) gently scrunch in.

Curly Hair Solutions - CURL KEEPER : really cuts down on frizz and defines each strand. has no hold though, so I scrunch it into my hair before I add ROCK HARD GELEE.

Also some other great curly products are:

AG: RECOIL (cream) : use small amounts. scrunch in.

BOOTS Essentials curl cream (pink): Gives nice, soft definition (mixed with rock hard gelee)

ISO Daily Styling Gel: AWESOME (mixed with rock hard gelee)

I also agree: naturallycurly.com is a great website for curlie gals to get some info and tips..

I ditto the CurlySexyHair & HealthySexyHair products. I also like Marc Anthony's curling products (Curl Booster Spray & Curl Defining Lotion).

I have used many Jessicurl products. For the most part I have found that the styling products do not work on my hair. Here is what I have used.

Rockin ringlets-This is a liquid that you put in your hair to style it. I wouldn't call it a gel because it is a liquid. Anyway, I found that this makes my hair very curly which is good but it also made it frizzy.

Celebration spray-This is supposed to be good for second day hair. For me it did make my hair curly but also f rizzy.

Aloeba conditioner-This is my favorite conditioner. No cones or proteins. It really moisturizes my hair without weighing it down. This helps control my frizz. I use this every time I wash my hair.

Too shea conditioner-This is heavier than the aloeba. I also love this when my hair is really dry. It helps control the frizz.

Weekly deep treatment-Another favortie of mine. I use it about once or twice a month. It really conditions my hair and makes it smooth.

So what I have found is that I love the conditioners but not the styling products. That is just me though. There are many people on the naturallycurly boards who love Jessicurl's styling products. I want to try her shampoo's next. HTH.
