Curling wands....

Has anyone tried either the Remington curling wand or the Conair curling wand?

I've heard rave reviews about the Conair, but I found the Remington is really inexpensive[about $20 on amazon with free shipping].

I was all ready to order the Remington, but I'm afraid that it won't work the same as the conair/give the same curls or effect. I haven't seen many reviews on the Reminton either.

If you've tried the Remington or both did you like it/dislike it and why?

I don't think I've ever had a remington one but I've not found big differences in curling irons except for the barrel size.  I also find that the once with interchangable parts tend to heat up slower than the ones that are 1 piece.

I have this like fear that the Remington won't work as well even though they're almost exactly the same. I'm still on the fence about getting it. I haven't really seen any youtube reviews on it. Heating up isn't really an issue for me. It's wether the curls will look the same as with the Conair because I love how the Conair curls turn out.

I've been wanting to try the Cortex curling wand because it's cheaper than buying curling wands in every size. But it's so expensive.

Thanks for posting the video!

I ended up ordering the Conair one last night just because I knew it worked well. Also many places were selling the pink one for breast cancer month and I liked the pink better.

I'm not sure if I wanna return it to get the remington. The remington is a little bit cheaper on amazon, but the same price as the Conair on Ultas website.
