curling tongs on naturally curly hair

one of my bestfriends has naturally curly thick hair but shes always saying how she wants straight hair. she sometimes straightens her hair with GHDs but she wants curled hair with no frizz. for her birthday i was thinking about buying her BaByliss curl presshair styling tong which i use and its works really well. But would it work on her hair? make her curls more indevidual instead of clamped together. Or is there better curling tongs?x

Buy your friend the 'Curly Girl' book by Lorraine Massey or 'Curly Like Me' by Teri Laflesh. Heat styling will only dry the hair out and frizz is partially rooted in dryness! She can tame her naturally curly hair by stopping sulphates and silicones, stopping brushing and combing, using leave in conditioner, styling when very wet and not touching after that.
