What does everyone think of this trend? Last time I had a hair appointment, I decided to take the plunge, so I told her that I wanted blunt bangs. Basically, I wanted to change it up without just chopping my hair off (I seem to just go through cycles....long/short, long/short over and over and over). However, there seemed to be a miscommunication. I ended up with side swept bangs. The same hairstyle I had when I was like...what, 6th grade? I was a little upset. I definitely thought I looked like Wilma Flinstone. They've relaxed a little bit since then, but I'm wondering if I should ask her again the next time.

Bunt bangs are bangs that are the same length, from one side of your forehead to the other. And they should fall a bit heavy, with minimal layering.

I think they are cute, but then I'm bias as I have blunt bangs currently.

Let your side swept bangs grow out an inch and then go back, Ask for your bangs to be cut straight across this time. Watch what she's doing so there won't be anymore mistakes.

I like blunt bangs on certain faces. If you're still interested in getting them I'd recommend another stylist. Good luck!

I also like blunt bangs. You should maybe ask your hairstylist for blunt bangs that are a little more modern looking. Reese Witherspoon's bangs are very stylish and mature looking.
