I have always had booty length hair...I cut mine off twice.....HATED it both times so I can relate but, girl...it REALLY does look fabulous! Your so pretty too! I hope it grows on you or you can find something you like.

I think it looks great! I know how it feels when your fave hairdresser leaves... Mine went on maternity leave and never came back... Now I'm in NY and haven't found someone yet... Wait, I did... She went on maternity leave too after my first appt. w/ her! I could tell it was a match-made-in-heaven, and now she's gone

What to do, what to do?

I love the cut on you! It flatters your features and I think you look very pretty! I hope you get used to it and like it soon.

I have to say I liked your previous length better, but the new cut is gorgeous as well (it just looks like it´d be harder to style because of the many layers).

but I offcially welcome you to the "I hate my new haircut"-club. the bangs that my always-trusted hairstylist gave me look aweful but I think I´ll have them at the desired length in a month or so

UPDATE:

So I went back to get it fixed and OMG, OMG, OMG! I told her I need the back to be thinned out a bit more as it still looked too thick. well, she hacked away at it. but then she had an appt. and she told me to wait.

so i sat down and asked this total stranger what she honestly thought of my hair. she was polite enough to ask what i didn't like about it and she agreed. in the end, we both agreed that it now took the form of a mushroom.

so as i was b!tching to her about my hair and playing with my hair (looking for ways to make it better), another stylist past by and made a comment. so the girl told me i should ask him if he could fix it. so i did and he looked at my hair and told me what the problem is. it wasn't b/c my hair is so thick like the other stylist claimed. it was b/c the shortest layer was too short. it should have been close to the middle of my head. but instead it was near the crown! the other stylist just didn't want to admit she made a mistake!

his advice was to flat iron it straight until it grows back to where it should have been in the first place and then he'll trim the bottom. and he just fixed whatever else need fixing.

so now i just have to stop looking at it and let it grow. i guess it looks ok. thanks to that guy!

Wow! That's craziness Hersh! I'm glad it looks a bit better. It'll grow back faster than you think! I guess the best thing to do is try not too think about it too much and to work with it to the best of your ability... I know it sucks when it gets messed up! It'll be okay though, I promise!

it might not be what you wanted, but it does look very cute. i love the cut on you!

oops! i posted this before the second chop. sorry they made it worse! hopefully it will grow back quickly!

i'm so sorry you're upset with your hair, but i honestly think it looks great and i'm not just saying it. i know when i got a bad haircut, everyone told me they loved it, but it didn't matter to me because i was the one upset. it'll grow out faster than you think!

Did he add any layers inbetween to soften it out in length difference? Usually just one or two long layers added in can blend it better. I do think it looks good in your pics though!

yeah, he did the best he could. but really, the only thing i can do is let it grow.
basically, i asked for layers and got a bad shag instead.

That's too bad about that female stylist. Maybe you should go to that other guy next time. He seemed to be way more understanding and courteous. I, by the way, think your hair in the pictures that you posted looks fantastic.

Aww, I am sorry you are dislike your new hair cut. I hate it when a stylist doesn't listen to what you ask for. But for what it means, I honestly think that it looks really nice! hope you grow to like it.

Jeez, I hate stylists like that! And I don't like the ones who don't want to listen to you because they think they know better either. I didn't go back to get my hair fixed, but I ended up buying a straightening iron and had to use that every day till it grew out. It sucked. I hope you got that guy's name so that you can make sure to book him when you go in for your next cut!

I think it looks great! You totally pull it off. I'm sorry that you don't like it

It will grow back, but.. in the meantime I think you look gorgeous and you have nothing to worry about.
