Hey everyone!

I've been doing some research online in order to find the best at home remedies for lightening hair (with the use of sun)...

I have light brown hair with natural golden-ish highlights. So no, I'm not a blond.

But, I would prefer a remedy that includes chamomile and lemon juice - since I have both of those ingredients. If anyone has any recommendations or reviews of their own recipes, I'd love to hear them! Thanks so much!

*And a side note; I'm not a fan of Sun-In!

You could try using powdered vitamin c. It's active ingredient is the same as lemon.

Buy 1/4 cup at a health food store - about $2

Mix with 1/2 cup of shampoo, saturate hair, cover with plastic to keep mixture from dripping. Leave on for 2 hours.

Rince out extremely well, condition and you're done.

I have used a chamomile and lemon juice remedy in order to obtain blonde highlights in my naturally light brown hair. From my experience, I have found that it does work if you sit in the sun after applying chamomile and lemon juice. The sun makes my hair so much blonder.
