Worst morning. so mad.

so, i woke up today and went to turn on my Chi, so i could straighten my hair, but there was no ON/OFF switch on it. The switch had actually fallen off of it.. i was soo mad. Luckily, i had bought it at Beauty Plus in my local mall, and the store does a 1-yr warranty, and so does the Chi Company. So, i pulled everything out from under my bed so i could find the box&recepit it came with, bc i had only bought it in July.. so i was still under warranty. I FINALLY found it, and brought it back to the mall today and got a new one.. but i was SOO mad this morning. On top of that, I was late for school & there was frost all over my car while i was rushing.

so UGHHH, sorry i had to vent and share my horrible morning.

Has this happened to anyone -- the switch breaking?

That sucks. I'm sorry! I just got my CHI for Christmas, and so far so good. If it falls off I'll let you know, though. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Atleast you got it fixed!

Wow. I'm sorry that happened to you. Chi is really good brand. Perhaps someone dropped it to cause the button to fall off like that. Glad you could get a new one, especially since those irons are not the cheapest... Don't they go for like 180 a pop? I know they go for like 200-300 dollars here in Japan.

I've had mine for two years and have been dropping it like crazy and it still works as well as the day i bought it ...

hi, yea on many things my switch breaked lol. i also had this heating eyelash curler ones, it fell on the floor coz i always have coffeehands in the morning. i was like DAMN, so the heater for the lashes was broken in half, so i just used it like that :S
