ok, i was just wondering if you use lemon juice more than a few times if it will keep lightening your hair.

Yes it will

Be careful. Lemon juice can give you brittle hair, and give uneven results. If you want highlights, I'd suggest getting them done by a professional.

A while back, Walmart had a "blonde-ing" spray that you would spray in your hair, and it would lighten it when you went out into the sun. Not sure if they still carry it though!

I think the usual concensus is that you put the lemon juice in your hair and then go out in the sun.

There's a product called "sun-in" that does the same thing.

well, when i use it, i wet my hair and use a leave in conditioner following it. i used sun in a long time ago, it's pretty much the same thing as bleaching hair and highlights just damage my hair way too much. i just use it on the grown out part that's darker.
