Why MAYONNAISE in hairs?

I know someone (a guy) whose roommate used mayonnaise in his hair in hopes of preventing the receding hairline. That guy made the apartment smell weird. Don't use mayonnaise, especially if you do not live alone.

I used mayonaise after a really bad frost job on my hair. My hair was so dry it looked and felt like cotton. After using mayo every other day for about 2 ro 3 weeks, I had hair that looked real again.
