What else can I do to my hair??

My hair looks like this right now.. (Don't mind the wedding dress, I was trying on dresses that day) It's a a little bit longer than that but the same style. I am sooo sick of straightening it ALL the time. I probably straighten everyday and its doin' some damage on my hair. What else can I do with it besides make it straight?? I try clips and stuff but it just looks stupid cause of the length. I am trying to grow it out longer and its at a really awkward stage. I like that wavy, curly look, but have a hard time getting it like that. Any suggestions would be sooo helpful /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I hate that stage of hair growth! Have you thought about a body wave? Just to give it some body and wave? Unfortunately, I can't be of too great assistance... I haven't had short hair in ages, and when I did, it was the worst thing to deal with!

I just got it trimmed and colored. Its a rich rich dark brown with a hint of red to it. But hopefully this style will help for awhile and I can do more things with it.

you could ask your hairstylist to add some "fake" length to your real hair with extensions. i never tried it myself but it's the quickest way to have long hair while you wait for your real hair to grow. you'll have more possibilities for hair styles.

i agree you could get a body wave and light long layers will help give it body

Thanks for the suggestions..I might try a body wave sometime. I just spent quite a bit getting it colored and cut the other day so it will be awhile before i do.
