i actually don't remember who i emailed, but danielle got back to me, I used my samples already sorry :/ And i just wrote a generic email from a sample blog i read saying you'd really like to try before you buy, a little about you and your skin type, and that you'll be happy to share your experience.

I have come to find, and this goes for everyone, If you email a company on off hours, like i did most of mine on the weekends early in the morning, they are less likely to reply. 2pm on a weekday is probably your best bet or something of the like. They respond most promptly during business hours

One tip that I have is to email company with a complaint email if they don't email you back. I emailed two companies over three months ago and I didn't hear back from them so I sent them a complaint email and they replied in the very same hour and apologized and told me they would sendme plenty of samples and really fast so I am very happy with those results!!

Wow I didn't know that you could receive samples from so many companies! I just joined and I really appreciate this info!

Let me know if there are any tips or key words for emailing the companies to receive their samples. I've been wanting to try out new skin care products. I have problem skin and samples would be so helpful rather than having to purchase full size then having to return if it doesn't work. It's a pain. I like to be able to try things out first to see if it works. Also, do they just reply to ask for your info? Or how do you safely receive the samples? Also, does it cost to get samples in the mail?

Thank you in advanced!

How is it sneaky?

Search Perfectly Posh contact on google and you should find a form.
Well complaining to the company when all they did was refuse to give you samples. I mean do it if you're fine with it by all means. I just wouldn't feel comfortable complaining just because I didn't get samples. I didn't mean it in a negative way at all!

@@kittenbiscuits How did you word your email to Bare Minerals to getting the free sample tester of their foundation? I'm curious if there are any "key words" to getting companies to send you there samples. I'm really interested in trying out new products.  I just joined and am so glad I saw this post because I didn't know companies would send out samples directly! I hope to be properly wording the email so it sounds right because I'd definitely buy if I loved a sample. If you have any tips let me know!

I just asked for them, ha.... There are a few sample letters out there, some at the beginning of this thread if you read into it.

@ How did you word your email to Beauty Society? I'm interested in trying samples but just heard of this today! I didn't know that brands would give out free samples to try! That's great! Also, on Sample Society I went to the contact us page and then for the "samples" written section it says something about "find a diva." I'm not sure what that means because I have never heard of this website. I hope you can help. That'd be great ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I totally understand what you're saying! I just think that it's polite and professional to respond instead of just disregarding sample requests. I have a better chance of buying from companies who say no then companies who don't respond because it shows that they at least care about potential customers.

Well basically just tell the companies what you just told us. Like your skin type and that you like to try before you buy. Be sincere basically. And as for safety. As long as you're emailing a company with a reputation you don't have to worry about that. They don't want to deal with lawsuits and whatnot so they just send samples and forget your address. I include my address in the initial email for convenience purposes because some companies send you samples without replying.
